About FABA & FABA Academy: Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) has been providing a platform for the academy, industry and Govt. agencies to come together and interact, through various activities such as distinguished lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences. BioAsia has been the flagship event of FABA for the past 16 years. FABA Academy was launched last year in 2020 with a mission to address the issue of lack of trained manpower in Pharma and Biotech industries. Our degree courses curriculum leave very little room for us to expand our knowledge in industry relevant topics and skills. FABA Academy hence focuses on reskilling and upskilling the interested candidates so that they become “future-ready”. We do so by conducting various workshops which are focused on teaching you about industry/ job relevant topics like Workshop on Biologics and Biosimilars, Workshop on Drug discovery and development, Chromatography workshop, workshop on Data Science, workshop on biosecurity and biosafety, among many others. We have been able to touch the lives of 5000+ people which includes Bachelors, Masters, PhDs, Postdocs, Faculties and also industry professionals. We have conducted 31 webinars which were focused on discussing career opportunities, professional development, and learning about the emerging technologies and trends in the life sciences domain.
