Mishru showcases their AW20 collection, The Lost Summer at Lakmé Fashion Week

Travel back in time with Mishru’s Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection

2020 has been a year unlike any other. With the looming gloom and bleakness, the world suddenly found itself confined indoors. However, the limitations couldn’t take away the freedom of our minds that dreamed of wondrous places and sun-kissed days. Even though we couldn’t take in the flowers, we still knew of their glory. For the summer that existed in our minds, Mishru’s raises a glorious toast with the autumn/winter ‘20 collection, ‘The Lost Summer’.

For the new collection, Mishru delved deeper into the reservoir of memories and unearthed our collective quest for brightness. The pursuit found expression in an ephemeral lineup that speaks of the poetic joy to be found in a summery orchard in full bloom. Expect the vibrant hues of blush pink, hot pink, cloudy blue, navy blue and ivory doused on Mishru’s signature silhouettes. From pre-draped sarees, lehenga sets, Indo-fusion skirt sets, asymmetrical tunics to layered capes, jackets, corsets, jumpsuits and gowns, those looking to make a statement this festive season will have plenty to choose from. You may not be able to escape into a summery getaway this year, but Mishru offers up the next best thing with the tales of ‘The Lost Summer’.

About Mishru: Mishru is an Indian wear label with its finger on the sartorial pulse of the modern Indian woman. And it is the keen understanding of what the girl of today truly wants that has proved to be the trump card of founder and designer, Swapna Anumolu’s contemporary offering. It is this ability to understand, create and deliver on what women want today that has helped her grow the label from strength to strength.
