Mumbai, November 26, 2020: As a part of the #ThursdayTalk Series, Godrej Archives has organized a talk titled Business in the Time of Contagion. The talk is an attempt to explain contagion more broadly and to investigate the narratives it generates. These are important for all stake holders, including business and enterprise that draws a lot of its strength and subsistence from trust, reciprocity and confidence that in turn enables a better management of risk and liabilities. Dr. Subramanian argues that narrative production is a key strategy that is deployed to make sense of the unknown as well as to manage as best as possible the limitations of public policy and intervention. It also argues that it becomes vital to maintain a robust public sphere that will enable the production and utilization of sensitive messaging and how within it, business has a key role to play. Godrej Archives with the help of Dr. Lakshmi Subramanian in collaboration with The Museum Society of Mumbai and CSMVS will discuss just how contagion played out in past moments of history and what the present scenario holds out. This event is free and open to all Date: Thursday, November 26th, 2020 Time: 5:30 PM Click on the Zoom link to register
