This World Music Day, renowned music composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan inspires kids to embark on a new and wonderful journey, through a special message for kids as a part of Sony YAY!’s initiative for the day. The music maestro, who has delivered countless hits over the years, speaks about music being and integral part of his life and how it is a powerful tool of expression that inspires people. The revered artist also autographed an Ukulele which will be given to NGOs who will help kids with limited means to carve their musical journey.
Encouraging his young fans through the lens of Sony YAY!’s World Music Day initiative, music composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan said, “I feel that music is a very powerful tool that encourages and inspires people. Each one of us must make some time to celebrate this beautiful thing called music. For it is something that can be your philosopher, friend and guide and is always there with you.
