This wedding season, Swiggy and Dharma Productions come together to wish users JugJugg Jeeyo

The partnership will be a celebration of flavours as food often takes center stage in a Punjabi wedding

June 23, 2022, Mumbai: Swiggy, India’s leading on-demand convenience platform has announced a partnership with Dharma Productions for their upcoming release JugJugg Jeeyo.

Starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor, JugJugg Jiyo is centered around a big fat Punjabi wedding. Weddings are all about great food, music, and big family gatherings. From mouthwatering appetizers to indulgent desserts, food takes the spotlight in Punjabi weddings. As is the case for Swiggy users.

Just as Dharma’s films are high on emotions, Swiggy takes pride in providing a delightful experience to its customers by offering a wide range of food options to fulfill their cravings and moods.

As part of this collaboration, Swiggy and Dharma have released a fun Interview with Dolly Singh and the cast of the film that explores the nuances of Punjabi weddings and food while playing the famous party game ‘Never have I ever’.

In the interview, when asked about a dish they would want to marry- Kiara Advani picked the humble Dal Chawal, drawing parallels between the comfort dish and what marriage should be; while Neetu Kapoor picked the indulgent Mysore Pak. Anil Kapoor spoke nostalgically about how he would gatecrash weddings during his childhood to have cold drinks, a rarity in those days, while Varun Dhawan introduced viewers to the weird food combination of Parle-G biscuit and cola as his go-to.
