MUKERIAN
25 MARCH 2023: Members
of Shri Radhe Maa Charitable Society organised an social service event at the
Mankotia Farm in Mukeria, Punjab, where over 5000 families of limited means
received free food grains.
The event
also witnessed chanting of the holy name, bhajan, and was followed by
langar for all who visited without any exception of caste, creed and gender.
Speaking
at the event, Radhe Maa emphasized the need to take spirituality beyond the
temple to the word.
"We
do not really serve society or the world but God who has expanded and become
the world. Feeding the hungry, healing the injured and making life easier for
others is something that all of us should do to the best of our ability. I am
happy that devotees of Mahadev and Maa Bhagwati have come together to serve the
people here," said Radhe Maa.
This
event organised by the devotees also saw the presence of Radhe Guru Maa
who said that devotees came up with the idea for this event and she
was hopeful that it will inspire others to undertake similar events across the
world to support the poorest of the poor in whatever way possible.
Shri Radhe Maa Charitable Society organises several events through the year like free blood donation camps, support to various schools for students of limited means and distribution of food, medicines, anti-rain plastic sheeting and monetary aid to temples and paathshaalas.
