On behalf of WAI WAI Noodles, I would like to share this news that they plan to expand and consolidate its market reach in Bangalore city and neighbouring areas, focusing on the 20% of Karnataka's entire population that resides in Bangalore. With a total urban population of 1.36 crores in Bangalore, the company aims to tap into the potential of this bustling city and its surrounding towns and districts.

According to the Nielson Report 2020, the noodle market size in Karnataka is approximately 345 crores annually. WAI WAI Noodle has successfully established a strong foothold in Bangalore, where it currently achieves an average monthly sales revenue of 1 crore approximately. From 2021 to 2023 the company witnessed a growth percentage of 12% CAGR, indicating a promising future. To further expand its business, WAI WAI Noodle intends to concentrate on the towns and districts surrounding Bangalore, such as Mysore, Hubli, Mangalore, Gulbarga, and Belgaum.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company aims to target highly popular areas in Bangalore East and South, where WAI WAI Noodle enjoys maximum sales, such as Kormangla, JP Nagar, Hedge Nagar, and Babusa Palya. In addition, the company has noted a significant surge in demand for its Jain Noodles variant in Bangalore Central. With this move, the company is poised to capture a larger market share in Bangalore and meet the growing consumer demand for its products.
CG Foods owned Instant Noodles brand WAI WAI’s expansion focus will be on towns within a 70 km radius of Bangalore City, including Nelamangala, Kanakapura, Doddaballapura, Chickballapura, Ramnagar, Anekkal, Magadi, and Kolar. As part of this expansion plan, the company aims to increase its distribution network and introduce new products that cater to local taste preferences.
