Dear Members,Today, I had a constructive meeting with GST Commissioner Shri Asheesh Sharma ji, along with representatives from the Steel Chamber of India and MASSMA. We raised the critical issue of E-Way Bill complications in sale-in-transit transactions and highlighted the challenges faced by the trading community.Shri Sharma ji was highly supportive and acknowledged that if there is no intent to evade GST, businesses should not face unnecessary hurdles.
