Horn OK Please 14th Edition Concludes with a Power-Packed Weekend of Food, Music, and Entertainment


New Delhi, 2025 – The 14th edition of Horn OK Please, India’s happiest food festival, wrapped up on a high note after an electrifying two-day extravaganza at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on March 22nd and 23rd, 2025. With an extensive selection of 5,000+ dishes from diverse global cuisines, a dynamic artist lineup, and immersive entertainment zones, this edition was bigger and better than ever.

Food lovers were treated to an unmatched gastronomic experience featuring Indian, Mexican, Japanese, Italian, Korean, and Middle Eastern specialties. The festival’s fully stocked bars and dedicated beer garden added to the indulgence, offering handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, and a wide selection of chilled beer to complement the culinary delights.

The festival’s electrifying artist lineup kept audiences grooving throughout the weekend. Day 1 featured high-energy performances by Aditya Rikhari, Paradox, Kutle Khan, DJ Sumit Sethi, Suryaveer Hooja, Usool Band, and Anant, while Day 2 saw chart-topping artists like Gippy Grewal, Juggy D, Tony Kakkar, Basant Kur, Shruti Dhasmana, Aaryan Banthia, and Parneet Singh set the stage on fire. The diverse mix of genres created a vibrant and immersive musical atmosphere, making it a festival highlight.

Beyond food and music, Horn OK Please ensured entertainment for all age groups. Visitors explored a curated shopping arena showcasing unique brands, while families enjoyed a dedicated kids’ zone with activities such as face painting, glitter art, and bouncy castles. The festival also featured immersive experience zones and strategically placed photo booths, making it the perfect setting for memorable moments. Being both family-friendly and pet-friendly, the festival welcomed attendees of all kinds, fostering a lively and inclusive environment.

XG Captivates 40,000 Fans During World Tour in Additional China Shows!

XG, currently in the midst of their first world tour "XG 1st WORLD TOUR 'The first HOWL'" covering 35 cities and regions worldwide, with 47 performances, has successfully completed additional shows in four Chinese cities: Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu. While the entire tour has experienced continuous sold-out performances, the China leg was particularly notable with tickets selling out within one minute of going on sale. The girls performed for a total of 40,000 enthusiastic fans across China, captivating audiences with their powerful performances. Following the China shows, the tour will continue to Latin America in April (São Paulo and Mexico City), then Seattle, before concluding with the tour finale at Tokyo Dome on May 14.
In conjunction with the additional China performances, XG released collaborative merchandise with Chinese brands "DIDU" and "YUEQI QI." On March 24, the group made a surprise visit to the ENG FLAGSHIP STORE "ENG L+Mall CONCEPT STORE Shanghai," drawing hundreds of fans and further demonstrating their immense popularity in China.
It has also been announced that XG will appear as runway models at Nike's "Victory Lap" event during Shanghai Fashion Week tomorrow, April 1. This marks the first fashion show appearance for XG members, making it a highly anticipated event.
Additionally, on the 30th, MTV's "VMAJ" broadcast aired, where XG won two awards: "Best Visual Effects" and "Performance of the Year." Executive Producer JAKOPS (SIMON) received the inaugural "Best Producer" award, newly established this year. He said of the award, "I'm deeply honored to receive this at the VMAJs in Japan, which is my home country and has inspired my creative work, alongside many wonderful artists." He added, "However, honestly, I'm far from satisfied. I will continue to pour my soul and strong determination into creating history and culture, and I promise to show you sights you've never seen before."

Ishq Jabariya Actor Aditya Syal Opens Up About His Acting Journey: I Would Mimic Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar

While some stumble upon their passion, others seem born for it—like Aditya Syal, who plays Vyom in Ishq Jabariya on Sun Neo. Aditya’s journey into entertainment began long before he stepped onto a television set, and he recently shared how it all started.
Speaking about the artistic influence his family had on him, Aditya said, “My father was involved in theatre in Nainital, working with renowned artists such as Nirmal Pandey and acclaimed NSD actors like Idris Malik. So, I grew up in a household filled with creativity. Since childhood, I’ve been doing voice-overs, mimicking famous actors, capturing their voices, and closely observing people around me. Sometimes, I would mimic Amitabh Bachchan, sometimes Farhan Akhtar, and sometimes even my teachers and friends. My journey started with imitation, but over time, I became serious about acting.”
Recalling an early moment that ignited his passion, Aditya shared a fond childhood memory: “When I was in fifth grade, I visited Mumbai during my holidays. At the time, there was a popular show called Boogie Woogie, and my father’s friend, who was a writer for the show, noticed my playful nature. He said, ‘Your son is very mischievous; I think he should say a fun punchline about Nag Panchami as a filler with Javed Jaffrey and Naved.’ I was thrilled and immediately agreed! When I performed, it was done perfectly in just one take. That day, I felt an undeniable excitement, a spark that hinted at my future in acting.”
The Ishq Jabariya actor also shared the moment he realized the power of being on screen: “After my three-month winter vacation in Mumbai, I returned to school, and my classmates told me, ‘Hey, we saw you on Boogie Woogie!’ That was the moment I understood how even a small appearance on television could leave an impact. I thought, ‘If such a tiny role can make a difference, imagine what would happen if I pursued this seriously.’ Thankfully, my family supported me. My mother was also into English theatre—she performed in plays by Anton Chekhov and Shakespeare and had a passion for modeling as well. So, I guess, from both sides, art and creativity were always in my blood.”

मुंबईता. ३० : जगन्नाथ पुरी (ओडिशा) येथे ३१ मार्च ते ४ एप्रिल या कालावधीत होणाऱ्या ५७ व्या पुरुष व महिला राष्ट्रीय अजिंक्यपद खो-खो स्पर्धेसाठी महाराष्ट्राचे दोन्ही संघ मोठ्या उत्साहात रवाना झाले असून या स्पर्धेत उत्कृष्ठ कामगिरी करण्यासाठी सज्ज झाले आहेत.

अहिल्यानगर येथे पार पडलेल्या राज्यस्तरीय निवड चाचणी स्पर्धेतून पुरुष आणि महिला गटातील उत्कृष्ट खेळाडूंची निवड करण्यात आली होती. त्यानंतर सांगली येथे आयोजित सराव शिबिरानंतर या दोन्ही संघांनी राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेसाठी तयारी पूर्ण केली. नुकतेच महाराष्ट्र संघ जगन्नाथ पुरीकडे रवाना झाला असूनराज्यभरातील क्रीडाप्रेमींमध्ये आनंदाचे वातावरण आहे.

गुडीपाडव्याच्या शुभमुहूर्तावर 'सुप्रीम ट्रॉफी' खो-खो स्पर्धेची घोषणा!


मुंबई : 'सुप्रीम ट्रॉफी' (प्रिमियर लीग फॉरमॅट) स्पर्धेची घोषणा सॅफ्रन्स वर्ल्डतर्फे गुडीपाडव्याच्या शुभमुहूर्तावर करण्यात आली आहे. ही प्रतिष्ठित स्पर्धा महाराष्ट्र खो-खो असोसिएशनमुंबई खो-खो असोसिएशनमुंबई उपनगर खो-खो असोसिएशन आणि ठाणे खो-खो असोसिएशन यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली होईल.  ही भव्य स्पर्धा ऑक्टोबर 2025 मध्ये मुंबईत होणार आहे. हि स्पर्धा महाराष्ट्रातील सर्वात मोठ्या खो-खो स्पर्धांपैकी एक ठरेल असे सॅफ्रन्स वर्ल्डतर्फे जाहीर करण्यात आले आहे.   

स्पर्धेचा ढाचा:

या स्पर्धेत ८ संघ सहभागी होणार असून त्यासाठी ८ फ्रँचायझी मालक असतील. हे सर्व थरारक खो-खो सामने ८ दिवस चालतील. या स्पर्धेत आठ प्रशिक्षकांचा कस लागणार असून आठ व्यवस्थापकांचे व्यवस्थापन पणाल लागणार आहे. या स्पर्धेत १२० खेळाडू खेळणार असून २७ सामन्यांची मेजवानी प्रेक्षकांना पाहायला मिळणार आहे. सामन्यांचे थेट प्रेक्षेपण करण्याची सॅफ्रन्स वर्ल्डची योजना आहे.  

आठ संघ दोन गटात विभागले जातील. प्रत्येक संघ आपल्या गटातील संघांबरोबर दोन-दोन सामने खेळतील. दोन्ही गटातील पहिले दोन-दोन संघ उपांत्य फेरी साठी पात्र ठरतील. त्यातील विजेते संघ अंतिम सामना खेळातील.   

खेळाडूंचा लिलाव

सप्टेंबर २०२५ च्या दुसऱ्या आठवड्यात खेळाडूंचा लिलाव होणार असून त्यात खेळाडू तीन गटात विभागले जातील. लवकरच सॅफ्रन्स वर्ल्ड तर्फे ८ फ्रँचायझी मालकांची घोषणा केली जाणार आहे. खेळाडूंची निवड तीन श्रेणीत केली जाणार असून ‘अ’, ‘ब’ व ‘क’ गटात खेळाडूंची निवड केली जाणार असून अंतिम १२० खेळाडूंची निवड १५० खेळाडूंमधून निवड केली जाणार आहे.

बक्षिसे आणि पुरस्कार:

विजेत्या संघाला बक्षिस: १०,००,००० (दहा लाख रुपये) + सुप्रीम ट्रॉफी, उपविजेत्या संघाला बक्षिस: ,००,००० (सात लाख रुपये), प्रत्येक सामन्यातील उत्कृष्ट खेळाडूचा गौरव (मॅन ऑफ द मॅच), अंतिम सामन्यामधील तीन सर्वोत्तम खेळाडूंसाठी पुरस्कार, सर्व १२० खेळाडूंना पूर्ण स्पोर्ट्स किट दिले जातील.

या स्पर्धेदरम्यान दररोज ५,०००+ प्रेक्षकांची उपस्थिती असेलज्यात VVIPs, सेलिब्रिटीराजकारणीक्रीडा व्यक्तिमत्वव्यावसायिक आणि बॉलिवूड स्टार्स यांचा समावेश असेल. या भव्य इव्हेंटसाठी एक मोठे तात्पुरते स्टेडियम विशेषतः उभारले जात आहे.

Bringing Healthcare to All: Forever Living Products India & Krushi Prasar Foundation Conduct Free Medical Camp

Indore, 29th March 2025: Strengthening its commitment to community healthcare, Forever Living Products India, in collaboration with Krushi Prasar Foundation, successfully hosted a free medical camp in Indore on March 27th. The event, under the “Healthy Living” initiative, provided free health check-ups and distributed BP monitors and glucometers to individuals, ensuring they had access to essential health monitoring tools. The medical camp was held in association with Krushi Prasar Foundation, a voluntary initiative of a group of socially concerned activists and academicians.

FDCI presents Samant Chauhan at Moscow Fashion Week

Moscow Fashion Week में छह दिनों के दौरान, रूस, इंडोनेशिया, अमेरिका, दक्षिण अफ़्रीका, चीन, स्पेन और अन्य देशों के डिज़ाइनर्स ने अपने बेहतरीन कलेक्शन के साथ कैटवॉक की शोभा बढ़ाई। इस व्यस्त कार्यक्रम में 90 से ज़्यादा बेहतरीन शो शामिल थे, जिसमें 200 से ज़्यादा ब्रांड्स ने कई इनोवेटिव फ़ॉर्मेट्स में अपने क्रिएशन्स को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए Moscow Fashion Week को सही मंच के रूप में चुना।

इचलकरंजीदि. 28 मार्च – कै. भाई नेरूरकर चषक राज्य खो-खो स्पर्धेत कोल्हापूरने पुरुष व किशोर गटात विजेतेपद मिळवित दुहेरी मुकुट पटकावला. सांगलीने किशोरी गटातून आणि धाराशिवने महिला गटातून चमकदार कामगिरी करीत विजेतेपद मिळवले.

राज्य शासनाच्या क्रीडा व युवक सेवा खात्याच्या वतीने इचलकरंजी (जि. कोल्हापूर) येथील विठ्ठल रामजी शिंदे शाळा क्रमांक 21च्या मैदानावर ही स्पर्धा पार पडली.

कोल्हापूरचा नाट्यमय विजय

किशोर गटातील अंतिम सामन्यात कोल्हापूरने मध्यंतराच्या 11-10 अश्या एका गुणाच्या आघाडीनंतर उत्तम खेळ करीत सांगलीचा 16-15 असा पराभव केला. कोल्हापूरच्या रुद्र यादव (1.301.20 मिनिटे सरंक्षण)राजवीर वेर्णेकर (5 गडी),  आर्यन कुकडे (4 गडी)देवराज यड्रावे (1.30 मिनिटे व 2 गडी) यांनी यांनी महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका बजावली.. सांगलीकडून सार्थक हिरेकुर्ब  (2.10 मिनिटे व 5 गडी),  सोहम पाडळे (1.00 व 3.00 मिनिटे)दक्ष जाधव (2.00 मिनिटे व 1 गडी) यांनी यांनी संघाला विजय मिळवून देण्याचा प्रयत्न केलापण तो अपुरा ठरला.

किशोरी गटात सांगलीने पुण्याचा 11-8 असा एक डाव राखून गुणांनी पराभव केला. मध्यंतरासच त्यांनी 11-2 अशी निर्णायक आघाडी घेतली होती. सांगलीच्या अनुष्का तामखडे हिने 2.40 मिनिटे संरक्षण करीत आक्रमणात 3 गडी बाद करीत अष्टपैलू खेळी केली.  श्रावणी तामखडे (2.30 मिनिटे),  वेदिका तामखडे (1.50,2.10 मिनिटे व 1 गुण) यांनी संघाच्या विजयात मोलाचा वाटा उचलला. पुण्याकडून अपर्णा वर्धे (1.30 मिनिटे)रोहिणी सुलाखे (1.10 मिनिटे व 2 गडी) व पूजा बिराजदार हिने (1.10 मिनिटे) यांनी झुंज दिली.

When we visit these places, we get the opportunity to observe the local people—how they speak, their gestures, their common phrases, and even their unique way of expressing emotions. This helps us bring authenticity to our characters and makes it easier to portray the culture that the show is based on.”

I am already familiar with the local language, traditions, and way of life. Since childhood, I have seen and experienced MP’s culture firsthand, so when I play a character that belongs to this region—like in my current show on Sun Neo Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri it feels very natural to me. I instinctively know how to carry myself, speak, and behave in a way that fits the character and setting. Additionally, I have lived in Indore for two years, which has further helped me grasp the local dialect and slang. FICCI-BAF Awards 2025 celebrates excellence in AVGC-XR Industry; Unveils FICCI-EY M&E Report on Industry Growth


MUMBAI, 28 March 2025: ‘FICCI-BAF Awards 2025’ were announced yesterday celebrating excellence in Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (XR). Established in 2004, the Best Animated Frames (BAF) Awards have grown into India's foremost platform recognizing innovation, creativity, and technological advancements in the AVGC-XR sector.

With 33 award categories, this year’s ceremony honoured outstanding contributions across the industry, including Best Animated Feature, Best VFX in Films, Best Game Design, and Best XR Experience. The awards catalyse innovation, offering students, professionals, and studios a global stage to showcase their work while facilitating invaluable networking opportunities with investors, producers, and industry leaders.

During the event, FICCI also launched the Annual FICCI-EY Media and Entertainment (M&E) Report – Shaping the Future, offering key insights into the industry’s trajectory. According to the report, India's M&E sector grew by 3.3% in 2024, reaching INR 2.5 trillion (US$29.4 billion). Digital media emerged as the largest segment, growing by 17% to INR 802 billion, while advertising revenues saw an 8.1% rise, driven by digital platforms, live events, and Out-of-Home (OOH) media. However, a 2% decline in subscription revenues impacted traditional media segments, highlighting the need for strategic policy support. The sector is projected to grow 7.2% in 2025 and reach INR 3.1 trillion by 2027, driven by digital expansion, strategic alliances, and AI-driven advancements.

Sara Ali Khan REVEALS Her First Reaction After Father Saif Ali Khan Was Stabbed

*Sara Ali Khan recently opened up about her initial reaction upon learning that her father, Saif Ali Khan, had been stabbed. Speaking at the Times Now Summit 2025, co-presented by Dream Sports and powered by Pernod Ricard India, she shared her thoughts on Crossing Bollywood Boundaries* and reflected on the shocking incident. She said, "I shut down. I don’t remember much—it was a freeze impulse. I didn’t know what was happening. We were lucky that it wasn’t critical. From the hospital to getting updates, those 15-20 minutes felt like a lifetime. But I was relieved very fast."
Talking about Saif coming out of the hospital smiling and whether he is the kind of person who doesn’t show pain, she added, "That’s just who he is. It’s a combination of his nature and his role as a father. As a father of four, with two small children, he had to show that he was okay. He has always been a fighter, and I look up to him for never giving up. That’s the nature of our job—sometimes, you have to put on a brave face and say, ‘I’m fine.’"
Reflecting on how Saif remains calm under pressure, Sara admitted, "He is much better than others in panic situations. I, on the other hand, panic first, freeze, and cry."

इचलकरंजी, दि. २७ मार्च – कै. भाई नेरुरकर चषक राज्य खो-खो स्पर्धेत अंतिम टप्प्यावर पोहोचताना कोल्हापूर, पुणे आणि सांगलीच्या प्रत्येकी दोन संघांनी आपली जागा निश्चित केली आहे. यासोबतच धाराशिवच्या महिला संघाने आणि मुंबई उपनगरच्या पुरुष संघाने अंतिम फेरीत दमदार प्रवेश केला आहे.
राज्य शासनाच्या क्रीडा व युवक सेवा संचालनालयाच्या वतीने इचलकरंजी येथील विठ्ठल रामजी शिंदे शाळा क्र. २१च्या मैदानावर या प्रतिष्ठेच्या स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. उपांत्य फेरीत झालेल्या चुरशीच्या लढतींमध्ये खेळाडूंच्या अप्रतिम कौशल्याचे दर्शन घडले.

मुंबई उपनगरने सांगलीचा १७-१६ असा निसटता विजय मिळवला. अक्षय भांगरे (१.३०, १.५० मि. संरक्षण, १ गुण), दीपक माधव (१.४० मि., ४ गुण) आणि अनिकेत पोटे (१.२० मि., ४ गुण) यांनी संघाला अंतिम फेरीत पोहोचवले. सांगलीच्या ओंकार पाटील (१.३० नाबाद, ६ गुण) आणि सौरभ घाडगे (१.३० मि., ४ गुण) यांच्या जोरदार प्रयत्नांना यश मिळू शकले नाही.

सांगलीने ठाण्याला १४-८ अशा ६ गुणांनी सहज हरवले. सांगलीच्या श्रावणी तामखडे (३.००, १.०० मि.), अनुष्का तामखडे (१.४०, २.४० मि., ७ गडी) आणि वेदिका तामखडे (१.००, २.०० मि.) यांनी उत्तम प्रदर्शन केले.

Vietnam keen to sign comprehensive economic pact with India

Vietnam seeks India’s partnership to attain double digit economic growth

“Vietnam is keen to deepen its 2,000year old civilizational links with India. Vietnam Prime Minister Mr. Pham Minh Chinh became the second foreign state leader to visit India after Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi assumed office for the 3rd term. This reflects the importance of India in Vietnam’s foreign policy. We are seeing remarkable interest from Vietnamese companies to invest in India. Vietnam’s electric vehicle maker VinFast plans to invest USD 2 billion in India. Also, we will soon launch network of Vietnamese companies in India as many companies from software, agriculture, petrochemicals, airlines, electronics and agriculture are planning to invest in India. In order to deepen our commercial ties, Vietnam government has proposed to sign comprehensive economic partnership agreement with India,” H. E. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Ambassador of Vietnam to India at an interactive meeting at WTC Mumbai. The event was organized by AIAI and WTC Mumbai.

H. E. Mr. Hai informed, “Last year, Vietnam government’s commerce ministry sent a proposal for a comprehensive economic partnership agreement to broaden our collaboration beyond goods trade to finance, intellectual property, services, investment and mobility. We are awaiting response from the Indian government. Also, both the countries are working to open each other’s markets for agro products such as grapes, pomegranate and other crops. The central banks of both the countries are working to operationalize alternative cross-border payment system to facilitate trade settlement and other transactions.”

The Ambassador pointed out to the rapidly growing Vietnamese economy and the ongoing government reforms to improve governance efficiency and improve investment climate. He said, “Vietnam economy grew 7% last year and it is expected to grow 8% this year. We seek India’s support in taking this growth to double digit. Vietnam government is committed to reduce bureaucratic red tapism and improve ease of doing business by adopting a slim, effective and efficient administration. As part of this efforts, the number of ministries will be reduced from 19 to 14. Also, the number of local governments will be reduced from 10,500 to 2,500.”

In the tourism and connectivity sectors, the Ambassador mentioned, “There is 26% annual growth in Indian tourist arrivals to Vietnam. More than 5 lakh Indian tourists visited Vietnam last year and soon we expect this to touch 10 lakhs.  Similarly, Vietnamese are keen to visit India’s Buddhist pilgrimages. The number of weekly flights has grown from 6 before COVID to 74 now and in the coming year this will grow to 82.”

The Ambassador remarked that the prospect for bilateral cooperation is bright as India is the 5th largest economy and it is set to become 3rd largest in the coming years. India and Vietnam will organize Startup week at Delhi on April 2 to strengthen tie-up in technology sector.

He said, “Vietnam has learnt from India’s successful experience in green revolution in the past. Also, Indian movies were the first to be broadcast in Vietnam after Vietnam liberalized its economy. India has also supported Vietnam in its Independence movement. We can leverage our close cultural and religious affinity to strengthen economic relations in future.”

Earlier in his welcome remarks, Dr. Vijay Kalantri , President, President All India Association of Industries (AIAI) and Chairman, WTC Mumbai mentioned, “India and Vietnam should not compete with each other; but learn from each other and collaborate in complimentary sectors. India can learn from the successful SEZ model of Vietnam for industrial development. India can allocate dedicated special economic zones (SEZs) and technology parks to attract investment from Vietnamese companies and also promote technology collaboration and joint ventures.”

Dr. Kalantri suggested that India has announced 99 Smart Cities and out of this one of them can be dedicated for Vietnamese companies to invest and promote joint ventures with Indian counterparts.

The current bilateral trade of USD 15 billion is far below potential and we can grow this beyond USD 20 billion by identifying focus sectors and exchange trade delegations in these sectors. Many Indian companies have invested in Vietnam directly and also indirectly through Dubai, Singapore and other financial hubs. We need to attract Vietnamese investment into India.”

Dr. Kalantri also informed about the role of WTC Mumbai in promoting international trade and economic growth by leveraging the global network of 320 WTCs across nearly 100 countries. He assured the Ambassador all possible support to promote two-way trade and investment by facilitating exchange of delegation and participation of Vietnamese companies in Indian exhibitions and trade fairs.

Dr. Kalantri also pointed out that the tremendous opportunities in tourism cooperation, especially by promoting spiritual tourism to Hindu temples in Vietnam and also showcasing Vietnam as a potential wedding destination for Indian tourists.

Speaking on this occasion, Ms. Rupa Naik, Executive Director, WTC Mumbai suggested Vietnamese companies to exhibit their products and services in India to gain foothold in the Indian market. Ms. Naik also suggested the Ambassador to lead a business delegation at WTC Mumbai’s upcoming flagship event Global Economic Summit (August 20-22, 2025) to explore Indian market.

The meeting was also graced by Mr. Le Quang Bien, Consul General of Vietnam and senior officials from the consulate.
