पुरी (ओडिशा), ४ एप्रिल – ५७व्या राष्ट्रीय अजिंक्यपद खो-खो स्पर्धेत महाराष्ट्राच्या महिला संघाने दिमाखदार खेळी करत विजेतेपदावर आपले नाव कोरले. अंतिम सामन्यात त्यांनी यजमान ओडिशावर २५-२१ असा थरारक विजय मिळवला. दुसरीकडे, पुरुष गटात रेल्वेच्या संघाने गतविजेत्या महाराष्ट्राला ३६-२८ अशी मात देत बाजी मारली. राष्ट्रीय खो-खो स्पर्धेतील महाराष्ट्राच्या महिलांचे हे २६ वे तर रेल्वेचे १२ वे अजिंक्यपद ठरले आहे.

महिला गटात महाराष्ट्राची विजयी घोडदौड कायम

पुरी येथील जिल्हा क्रीडा संकुलात पार पडलेल्या अंतिम सामन्यात महाराष्ट्राच्या महिला खेळाडूंनी शेवटच्या क्षणापर्यंत संघर्ष करत यजमान ओडिशाचा प्रतिकार मोडून काढला. सामन्याच्या मध्यंतराला दोन्ही संघ १०-१० अशा बरोबरीत होते. मात्र, दुसऱ्या डावात महाराष्ट्राने अचूक रणनीती आणि दमदार संरक्षणाच्या जोरावर सामन्यावर वर्चस्व मिळवत विजयावर शिक्कामोर्तब केले.

प्रियांका इंगळे (१.३० मि. संरक्षण), रेश्मा राठोड (१.४० मि. संरक्षण) व अश्विनी शिंदे (१.४० मि. संरक्षण) यांनी पहिल्या डावात तर तन्वी भोसले (३ मि. संरक्षण), संपदा मोरे (१.३० मि. संरक्षण) आणि सानिका चाफे (१.२० मि. संरक्षण) यांनी दुसऱ्या डावात उत्कृष्ट खेळ करत विजयात महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान दिले. आक्रमणात रेश्माने ६ व प्रियांकाने ४ गडी बाद करत विजयात मोलाची भूमिका बजावली

पुरुष गटाच्या अंतिम सामन्यात रेल्वेने महाराष्ट्रावर ३६-२८ अशी निर्णायक मात करत अजिंक्यपद आपल्या नावावर केले. मध्यंतराला रेल्वेने २१-१२ अशी निर्णायक आघाडी घेत सामन्यावर नियंत्रण मिळवले. दुसऱ्या डावात महाराष्ट्राने १५-१५ अशी जोरदार मुसंडी मारली पण रेल्वेने पाहिल्या डावात घेतलेली आघाडी महाराष्ट्राच्या पराभवाचे कारण ठरली.

Core assets drive USD 1.3 Bn investments in Q1 2025, marking 31% YoY growth - Colliers

·       Office segment drove 1/3^rd of the total inflows at USD 0.4 Bn, followed by Industrial & warehousing and residential assets at 0.3 Bn each

·       Domestic investments surged by 75% on an annual basis, driving 60% of the total inflows in Q1 2025

·       Mumbai followed by Bengaluru attracted majority of the real estate investments in Q1 2025

Gurgaon, 03 April 2025: Institutional investments in Indian real estate have seen a strong start to 2025, with inflows reaching USD 1.3 billion in the first quarter—a 31% year-on-year (YoY) increase. This growth was primarily driven by domestic investments, which accounted for 60% of the total inflows during the quarter. With USD 0.8 billion inflows, domestic investments saw a 75% annual rise and were largely focused on industrial & warehousing and office segments.

Office segment drove one-third of the institutional inflows during the first quarter of 2025, at USD 0.4 billion worth of investments. Hyderabad attracted over half of the total inflows in the office segment in Q1 2025. At the India level, Industrial & warehousing and residential segments too witnessed significant traction, cumulatively accounting for 47% of the total inflows during Q1 2025.

"Institutional investors in Indian real estate continue to exhibit confidence, as investments rose by 31% YoY to USD 1.3 billion in Q1 2025. This growth highlights the resilience of the Indian real estate and the untapped opportunities it presents. Both foreign and domestic investors remained committed towards core assets, with office, residential and industrial & warehousing segments cumulatively accounting for 80% of the institutional investments in Q1 2025. The momentum is expected to persist through 2025, supported by strong economic growth prospects, robust demand across asset classes and optimistic business sentiment. Anticipated easing of monetary policy in the near future and proactive government policies are likely to ensure capital deployment in both core and alternative real estate assets throughout the year,” said Badal Yagnik, Chief Executive Officer, Colliers India.

Residential investments surge in Q1 2025, ~3X times compared to Q1 2024

During Q1 2025, institutional investments in the residential segment was almost thrice the inflows in the corresponding period of 2024. The segment with USD 0.3 billion inflows, accounted for 23% of the total quarterly investments, almost at par with the inflows in industrial & warehousing segment. Interestingly, foreign investments accounted for over half of the total inflows in residential segment during the quarter, led by select large deals.

"Residential real estate in India has been witnessing strong end user demand in recent years. Institutional investments in the segment grew multi-fold to the tune of USD 0.3 billion during Q1 2025, on an annual basis. Amidst evolving capital deployment trends, leading global investors are increasingly partnering with domestic developers, forming joint venture platforms to capitalize on growing opportunities in the residential segment. Sustained growth in residential prices, rising demand for luxury housing, and ongoing infrastructure developments will continue to boost institutional investments in residential real estate in the upcoming quarters. Concurrently, likely reduction in repo rates can potentially fuel residential demand and thereby investments in mid & affordable housing as well," said Vimal Nadar, Senior Director & Head of Research, Colliers India.

In continuation to the growth momentum set in 2024, the Industrial & warehousing segment also saw over USD 0.3 billion of investments in Q1 2025, a notable 73% YoY increase. Improved investor confidence is reiterated by strong performance of high frequency macro-economic indicators including Manufacturing Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) and Index of Industrial Production (IIP). India’s Manufacturing PMI touched 58.1 in March 2025, the highest since mid-2024 indicating strong expansion in the manufacturing sector, driven by robust demand, increased production output, and improved business confidence.

Investments in alternate assets remained healthy at USD 0.07 billion during the quarter. Amongst alternate assets, data centers particularly witnessed strong traction in Q1 2025, led by capital deployment in a proposed hyperscale data center in Mumbai.

Mumbai followed by Bengaluru attracted majority of the inflows in Q1 2025

While multi-city deals corresponded to an overall 31% share, Mumbai, with about USD 0.3 billion inflows accounted for 22% of the real estate investments in the country during Q1 2025. Bengaluru and Hyderabad followed closely with 20% and 18% share respectively. While Mixed-use assets accounted for over half of the quarterly inflows in Mumbai, the residential segment drove 55% of real estate investments in Bengaluru during Q1 2025.

महाराष्ट्राच्या दोन्ही संघांची राष्ट्रीय खो-खो स्पर्धेत विजयी सलामी

पुरी (ओडिशा), दि. १ एप्रिल : महाराष्ट्राच्या पुरुष व महिला संघांनी ५७ व्या वरिष्ठ राष्ट्रीय अजिंक्यपद खो-खो स्पर्धेत दमदार सुरुवात करत पहिल्याच फेरीत विजय मिळवले. पुरुष संघाने लडाख व पंजाबचा पराभव करून गटात आघाडी घेतली, तर महिला संघाने तेलंगणावर प्रभावी विजय मिळवत चुरस निर्माण केली. यंदा ही राष्ट्रीय स्पर्धा अल्टीमेट लीग पद्धतीने खेळवली जात असल्याने रोमांचक लढती पाहायला मिळत आहेत.

महिला संघाची विजयी घोडदौड

पुरी येथील जिल्हा क्रीडा संकुलात सुरू झालेल्या स्पर्धेत महाराष्ट्राच्या महिला संघाने तेलंगणाचा २९-१२ असा एक डाव राखून १७ गुणांनी पराभव केला. महाराष्ट्राच्या प्रियांका इंगळेने ८ गडी बाद करत आक्रमणात चमक दाखवली. संध्या सुरवसे (३.३० मिनिटे संरक्षण) आणि दीपाली राठोड (२.१० मिनिटे संरक्षण) यांनी उत्कृष्ट बचाव केला. संपदा मोरे (२ मिनिटे व ४ गुण) व सुहानी धोत्रे (१.३० मिनिटे नाबाद व ४ गुण) यांनी संघाच्या विजयात महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावली. तेलंगणाकडून कात्रावती अनुषाने ४ गुण मिळवले, मात्र त्यांच्या संघाचा बचाव अपुरा ठरला.

पुरुष संघाची दणदणीत कामगिरी

महाराष्ट्राच्या पुरुष संघाने पहिल्या सामन्यात लडाखचा ४६-२० असा एक डाव व २६ गुणांनी धुव्वा उडवला. कर्णधार लक्ष्मण गवसने १२ गडी बाद करीत १.१० मिनिटे संरक्षण करताना अष्टपैलू खेळ केला. रुद्र थोपटे (१.१० मिनिटे व ८ गुण), रविकिरण कचवे (१.४० मिनिटे व २ गुण), मिलिंद चवरेकर (१.२० मिनिटे नाबाद व ६ गुण), नरेंद्र कातकडे (१.१० मिनिटे व ६ गुण) यांनीही प्रभावी कामगिरी केली. लडाखकडून मोहम्मद अब्बासने एकाकी झुंज दिली.

दुसऱ्या सामन्यात महाराष्ट्राने पंजाबचा ३८-१९ असा एक डाव व २४ गुणांनी पराभव केला. यात अनिकेत चेंदवणेकर (२.३० मिनिटे, ३.१० मिनिटे संरक्षण व ४ गुण), विजय शिंदे (४ गुण), प्रतीक वाईकर (१.१० मिनिटे नाबाद संरक्षण व ८ गुण), ऋषिकेश मुर्चावडे (१.१० मिनिटे संरक्षण) यांनी संघाच्या विजयात महत्त्वाचा वाटा उचलला. पंजाबकडून जीवन सिंग (१.१० मिनिटे संरक्षण) आणि रेहान खान (४ गुण) यांनी चांगला खेळ केला, पण संघाला विजय मिळवता आला नाही.

XG Captivates 40,000 Fans During World Tour in Additional China Shows!

XG, currently in the midst of their first world tour "XG 1st WORLD TOUR 'The first HOWL'" covering 35 cities and regions worldwide, with 47 performances, has successfully completed additional shows in four Chinese cities: Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu. While the entire tour has experienced continuous sold-out performances, the China leg was particularly notable with tickets selling out within one minute of going on sale. The girls performed for a total of 40,000 enthusiastic fans across China, captivating audiences with their powerful performances. Following the China shows, the tour will continue to Latin America in April (São Paulo and Mexico City), then Seattle, before concluding with the tour finale at Tokyo Dome on May 14.

In conjunction with the additional China performances, XG released collaborative merchandise with Chinese brands "DIDU" and "YUEQI QI." On March 24, the group made a surprise visit to the ENG FLAGSHIP STORE "ENG L+Mall CONCEPT STORE Shanghai," drawing hundreds of fans and further demonstrating their immense popularity in China.

It has also been announced that XG will appear as runway models at Nike's "Victory Lap" event during Shanghai Fashion Week tomorrow, April 1. This marks the first fashion show appearance for XG members, making it a highly anticipated event.

Additionally, on the 30th, MTV's "VMAJ" broadcast aired, where XG won two awards: "Best Visual Effects" and "Performance of the Year." Ishq Jabariya Actor Aditya Syal Opens Up About His Acting Journey: I Would Mimic Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar

While some stumble upon their passion, others seem born for it—like Aditya Syal, who plays Vyom in Ishq Jabariya on Sun Neo. Aditya’s journey into entertainment began long before he stepped onto a television set, and he recently shared how it all started.

Speaking about the artistic influence his family had on him, Aditya said, “My father was involved in theatre in Nainital, working with renowned artists such as Nirmal Pandey and acclaimed NSD actors like Idris Malik. So, I grew up in a household filled with creativity. Since childhood, I’ve been doing voice-overs, mimicking famous actors, capturing their voices, and closely observing people around me. Sometimes, I would mimic Amitabh Bachchan, sometimes Farhan Akhtar, and sometimes even my teachers and friends. My journey started with imitation, but over time, I became serious about acting.”

Recalling an early moment that ignited his passion, Aditya shared a fond childhood memory: “When I was in fifth grade, I visited Mumbai during my holidays. At the time, there was a popular show called Boogie Woogie, and my father’s friend, who was a writer for the show, noticed my playful nature. He said, ‘Your son is very mischievous; I think he should say a fun punchline about Nag Panchami as a filler with Javed Jaffrey and Naved.’ I was thrilled and immediately agreed! When I performed, it was done perfectly in just one take. That day, I felt an undeniable excitement, a spark that hinted at my future in acting.”

The Ishq Jabariya actor also shared the moment he realized the power of being on screen: “After my three-month winter vacation in Mumbai, I returned to school, and my classmates told me, ‘Hey, we saw you on Boogie Woogie!’ That was the moment I understood how even a small appearance on television could leave an impact. I thought, ‘If such a tiny role can make a difference, imagine what would happen if I pursued this seriously.’ Thankfully, my family supported me. My mother was also into English theatre—she performed in plays by Anton Chekhov and Shakespeare and had a passion for modeling as well. So, I guess, from both sides, art and creativity were always in my blood.”
