But if these critical technologies are compromised, hackers could use them for blackmail, demanding ransoms to restore functionality. Smart glasses or contact lenses, which provide real-time data and environmental analysis, could be hacked to distort your vision or display ransom demands, severely disrupting their intended use.

The devil is in the details

As more and more smart devices are integrated into our clothing, the risk of cyber attacks is increasing.

Smart clothing often collects and stores sensitive personal data such as health data, and also lot of financial information. Hackers can exploit this data for targeted attacks or trade it on the dark web. If attackers gain control over smart clothing, they could manipulate features like heating elements, potentially causing harm. GPS modules in these garments could be misused for stalking or privacy invasion, and integrated microphones and cameras could be exploited for espionage. The challenge of updating and patching vulnerabilities in these devices makes them an easy target for cybercriminals, who can exploit known weaknesses long after they've been discovered.

In addition, wearable technologies are usually connected to a mobile phone or to home and corporate networks and linked to various cloud services. Without basic security, these connected devices can be an easy target or a means for a more serious attack on other devices and even possibly, the entire network. Also, always consider carefully which manufacturer you buy your smart products from, as they may then have access to your sensitive data, and whether they are a trusted partner.

A successful cyberattack on any part of the supply chain could lead to widespread exploitation, such as inserting malware into smart clothing. This could compromise platforms, systems, and apps designed to monitor and control these garments, leading to significant financial losses, severe fines for data breaches, and irreparable damage to brand reputation.

But fashion can also play a key role in protecting our digital privacy. Special glasses, hats or masks, for example, can make computer facial recognition difficult or impossible. Wallets, bags or clothing with built-in RFID blockers prevent unauthorised scanning of RFID chips and data theft. And the use of special fabrics that block or absorb radio signals can protect against tracking by wireless technologies.

The integration of technology into fashion is revolutionizing the comfort and functionality of clothing. But as with most other innovations, we face cyber security challenges that must not be underestimated. Pranoti Pradhan: "If I Wasn't an Actor, I'd Be a Cook or Baker*

Pranoti Pradhan, who plays the role of Madhumita in the Sun Neo show 'Ishq Jabariya,' recently shared about her hobby. She also mentioned what career she would have chosen if she wasn't an actor. Like many people, Pranoti has interests outside of her profession that bring her joy and fulfillment.
She Says, "Apart from acting, I love cooking and baking. If I wasn't an actor, I would be a cook or a baker because these are also my hobbies. I enjoy trying new recipes and experimenting with different things in cooking and baking. This has been my hobby for a long time, but during the lockdown, I gave it all my time and attention. I used to bake as well as cook, and I even turned my baking hobby into a source of income. I baked some beautiful and delicious cakes and sold them. I've always had this hobby, and I often served various tasty dishes to my family members."

Deepika Padukone's company KA Enterprises Buys Luxury Bandra Apartment for Rs. 17.78 Crores: Square Yards


In the same month, Anju Bhavnani, mother-in-law of Deepika Padukone and mother of Ranveer Singh, acquired the adjacent apartment for Rs. 19.13 crores.

KA Enterprises LLP, a firm owned by Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and her father Prakash Padukone, has recently made a significant real estate investment, purchasing a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West locality. The property, located in the Sagar Resham Co-operative Housing Society near the iconic Bandstand, was acquired for Rs. 17.78 crore, according to registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. Sagar Resham Co-operative Housing Society, developed by Enorm Nagpal Realty, offers premium 4 BHK and 5 BHK apartments.

As per Square Yards, the newly purchased apartment spans 171.47 square metres (~1,846 square feet) and comes with a designated car parking space. The deal incurred a stamp duty of nearly Rs. 1.07 crore and registration charges of Rs. 30,000. The transaction, completed in September 2024, was registered under KA Enterprises LLP, a global venture investment firm focusing on high-growth consumer and consumer-tech companies.

In a related transaction, Deepika’s mother-in-law, Anju Bhavnani, acquired an adjacent apartment in the same month for Rs. 19.13 crore. This property, spanning 1,822.45 square feet (~169 square metres) in carpet area, also includes one car parking space. The stamp duty for the deal amounted to Rs. 95.68 lakh, with a registration fee of Rs. 30,000.

Interestingly, on the day of the acquisition, Anju Bhavnani’s apartment was leased to her daughter Ritika Bhavnani and husband Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani. The lease, registered under R.S. Filmcraft (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. and Oh Five Oh Talent LLP, has a tenure of 55 months. The monthly rent has been set at Rs. 8.20 lakh for the first 33 months, rising by 15% to Rs. 9.43 lakh for the remaining 22 months. A security deposit of Rs. 73.80 lakh and a stamp duty of Rs. 1.29 lakh were also part of the agreement. Padukone’s husband Ranveer Singh already owns multiple floors in the same building purchased for a staggering Rs. 119 crores in 2022.

Deepika Padukone and Anju Bhavnani’s property transactions are the latest in a series of high-profile celebrity real estate deals in Bandra West. Square Yards noted that Bollywood stars and notable figures including Aamir Khan, Tripti Dimri, and K.L. Rahul along with Athiya Shetty have recently purchased properties in the area, with transaction values of Rs. 9.76 crore, Rs. 14 crore and Rs. 20 crore, respectively.

The next Dark location on MTV Dark Scroll - Muqabla Anjaan se is the Hathpaon School, once an education center now a haunted nightmare*

After the horrors of Radha Bhavan, it’s time for the next Dark Assembly on MTV Dark Scroll - Muqabla Anjaan Se. As the fifth Dark Scroll unfolded, the heartbeat of the Seekers was at an all-time high. 
_*Their destination? Hathpaon School.*_
Hathpaon School, built during the British era when Mussoorie flourished, once served as a symbol of hope and growth. Under Principal Joseph's watch, it thrived. But everything changed ten years later when a mysterious teacher joined the faculty. Strange, terrifying incidents started plaguing the students—children fell sick, vomiting blood, and fear spread like wildfire. The school was shut down, but tragedy struck before an official investigation could begin. One of the investigators suffered a fatal heart attack inside the school grounds. 
Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, Principal Joseph launched his own investigation. What he uncovered was chilling—the new teacher was dabbling in dark forces, attempting to communicate with sinister entities in an unknown language. Joseph swiftly suspended the teacher and warned other schools about him. But mere days later, Joseph’s lifeless body was found at the heart of the school, and the teacher was hanged under British law. It’s believed that the dark forces he summoned remain trapped within the school, refusing to let anyone leave unharmed.
Pooja sensed that during the second half of the day, the school became a hotspot for illegal activities. She sensed the spirit of a pune who was killed due to these illegal activities, with emotions of rage and regret lingering in the air. Sarbajeet warned the Seekers seriously, cautioning them that even they can’t predict what may trigger these restless entities, making the investigation a risky endeavor.
The devices used in this investigation are the Motion sensors designed to detect the presence of entities, will light up and emit sound when they come near. The EDI Plus, an Environmental Detection Instrument, will measure temperature, pressure, humidity, and electromagnetic fields to capture fluctuations in the environment.
The first team will attempt to communicate with the spirit of the murdered pune. The "trigger" Seeker will enter first, followed by their partner. While the trigger tries to provoke the entities, the partner will monitor fluctuations on the EDI Plus. They will then advance to stage three, using the Motion Sensor to further engage with the entity. The second team will face the spirit of the principal, and the third will confront the very teacher who invited the dark forces into Hathpaon School.
What mysteries lie in wait for the Seekers within this abandoned school? Only the night holds the answer.

Remembering the life and work of this visionary leader, Dr. Vijay Kalantri, Chairman, MVIRDC WTC Mumbai remarked, “This is a special moment for MVIRDC as we celebrate the birth Anniversary of our visionary leader whose pioneering work in the fields of engineering and socio-economic development continues to inspire generations.
