~ The shot-stopper recorded the highest number of saves by a ‘keeper during the 2020-21 ISL season ~

Mumbai, June 30, 2022: FC Goa have completed the signing of Arshdeep Singh, the club can confirm. The goalkeeper has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract with the Gaurs, which will see him remain a part of the club till the summer of 2024.

“This is a dream come true for me. I’ve always wanted to play for FC Goa, so when I was presented with the opportunity this summer, I didn’t have to think twice before agreeing terms,” Singh said to fcgoa.in after signing on the dotted line.

“Their footballing style is something that I have admired for a long time. However, I have been on the wrong side of some really marvelous attacking performances by Goa.

“Even though I am a ‘keeper, I love playing with my feet, am comfortable with it and I feel that would be something that I will bring to the Club. I can’t wait to develop my game further and take the next step forward.

"The Club has produced several names in the recent past who have gone on to shine for the Indian national team, and my aim is to join them. All that starts with starting games, winning matches and trophies for FC Goa,” the 24-year-old further added.

Ravi Puskur, FC Goa’s Director of Football also expressed his thoughts on Arshdeep Singh’s signing.

“We’re pleased to bring Arshdeep on board. He’s a keeper who is well accustomed to the league now and beyond his obvious shot stopping ability, has fantastic distribution as well, which is a must for us in our style of football. I’m sure he’ll adapt to our style and system in no time and will be an integral part of the First Team for years to come.”

Ample experience in Indian top-flight

Arshdeep Singh started his career with the AIFF Elite Academy. Ahead of the 2015-16 season, he was roped in by Minerva Punjab FC and his performances since then got noticed across the country.

Increasing momentum of EV Adoption and Visible Shift to Electric Vehicles from ICEs

With the challenges of Climate Change, globally the respective Governments’ administrative machineries are working towards measures to minimise the use of causative agents of pollution and adopt alternate means of environment conservation. Keeping in view the commitments of reduction in greenhouse gas emissions at the 26th Conference of Parties meeting (CoP 26) in the United Nations by respective countries, the automotive industry is switching to less energy-intensive options of mobility to reduce the environmental impact.

There is growing consciousness of the alarming situation, and collectively the Indian Government and citizens are playing their part to control the concerns of Climate ChangeTo achieve any visible change, introducing alternate means to travel in the transport sector is crucial. There is gradual shift to Electric Vehicles from ICEs being observed owing to increasing awareness of the impact of high pollution levels.

The Preferred Choice

The increasing monthly budgetary expenses of households and the issue further compounded by fossil fuel prices touching the skies, a large section of the middle-class is on the lookout to economize. The move to Electric Vehicles is most visible among 'Morris Garages' (MG Motor) cars' owners. MG Motor offers the most value-for-money electric vehicle – MG ZS EV, based on the global popular platform from their home country, the UK. MG Motor’s commitment towards clean technologies & green mobility can be seen with the brand’s innovations and comprehensive ecosystem approach around the growing footprint of the ZS EV, now in its new avatar.

The customer exchanged his old Hector at a staggering Rs. 16.5 lakhs and paid just Rs. 7.95 lakhs to take home the new MG ZS EV, Exclusive variant. Another customer, Deepak Singh from Mumbai has upgraded from Hector 2019 to ZS EV in 2021. The customer had acquired the Hector in 2019 for an ex-showroom price of Rs. 16.78 lac and sold it for Rs. 14 lac. Thus, realising a resale value of 83% after retention of 29 Months.

Apart from the loyal MG customers making the shift to ZS EVs, owners of other brands are also seeing value in exchanging their ICEs with MG ZS EV. Seema Rawal from Rohini New Delhi, a customer of Jeep wanted to move to an EV. She decided to exchange her Jeep for the ZS EV.

White Paper on Mumbai's real estate market from India Sotheby's International Realty.

Mr Samir Saran, managing partner, India Sotheby's International Realty.

Mumbai's real estate market is not only the most expensive in India, it is also among the top few real estate markets that command such high capital values in the world. In fact in some localities, the per square feet rate has crossed the Rs 1 lakh figure. One of the reasons behind such an exorbitant pricing is government fees and charges associated with real estate.

It is surprising that subsequent governments have shied away from unlocking the true potential of Mumbai’s real estate by easing the leasehold to freehold norms. We believe some serious rethinking is required to create a more robust and equitable housing market in Mumbai and have put together this white paper with that intention.

  • BOOK THE HOSPITALS WHO CHARGE EXTRA FEES FROM PATIENTS AVAILING AAROGYASRI: CM JAGAN
  • DBTS IN AAROGYASRI WILL INCREASE ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY: CM YS JAGAN
  • TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT AAROGYASRI, KEEP DISPLAY BOARDS AT VILLAGE SECRETARIATS: CM JAGAN
  • ALL RECRUITMENT IN THE HEALTH SECTOR SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY JULY: CM YS JAGAN TELLS OFFICIALS

Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, June 28,2022: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to strengthen the Aarogyasri by eliminating the minor loopholes and increase the number of procedures availed under the scheme (currently 2446 procedures) during the health department review meeting at his camp office in Tadepalli on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister told the officials that some hospitals are scamming the people where they would misguide and force them to pay extra fees than the approved amount under Aarogyasri. “They would be punished under the law, and criminal actions would be taken against them,” said AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy while instructing the officials to insert a clause in the agreement with hospitals against the extra fees.

“We are implementing the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBTs) in Aarogyasri to increase accountability and transparency in the system. Create a virtual account for the patients so that the treatment amount would be transferred and then it would go to the concerned hospitals like RTGS payment,” AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.

He also informed the officials to educate the people regarding the Aarogyasri facilities, procedures, and treatments. Display boards containing details of Aarogyasri would be kept at all village secretariats, and the staff would get a detailed booklet regarding the scheme said the officials.

“Get a confirmation statement signed by the patient, which should clearly state the surgery procedures and cost of the treatment the government would pay to the concerned hospitals. Even if the treatment is conducted at a government hospital, the same protocols should follow, and people should know the cost,” said AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Further, he instructed the officials to file a report regarding the functioning of 108, 104, and Talli Bidda Express ambulances“The ambulances should have display board against the bribes and contact information to report the crime,” said the AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan reddy

Regarding the recruitment in the health department, Chief Minister instructed the officials to fill all the doctors, teacher posts, and other workers on or before July end. The officials informed the Chief Minister that Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (APVVP) has recruited 4395 out of 5108 permitted vacancies and the remaining posts by July.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has recruited 3727 teaching staff out of 4142 sanctioned posts, and the remaining posts by July as well said the officials.

“All the vacancies in the health sector should be filled within two or three weeks from the day of the post fell vacant. As far as the posts which would fall vacant upon staffs' retirement, recruitment should be done in a pre-planned manner,” said AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
