New Delhi, 1st August: Luxury motorcycle brand Ducati today announced its ‘Big Indian Scramble’ in India on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day. The brand has joined hands with Lotus Petal Foundation, an NGO which strives to provide quality life to the underprivileged children in India. Big Indian Scramble is a unique ride that will help raise funds to support the cause and bring transformation in their lives by providing education, basic healthcare, and secure life.
The rides will be flagged off from respective Ducati dealerships across nine markets – Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad. This ride for cause includes all Scrambler and Ducati range of motorcycles and would witness participation from Ducati customers, DOC members, and Ducati India staff.
On this occasion, Sergi Canovas, MD of Ducati India, said, “We at Ducati India, along with our fellow Ducatisti, always strive to stand for causes that are aimed towards the development and betterment of the society and the nation. The Big India Scramble ride is the second event in the series that brings motorcycle enthusiasts together to contribute towards the education of the underprivileged children in India. Ducati India believes in the right to education and through this ride, we wish to create awareness around the need for quality education for all. It will be a proud moment for Ducati India to see participation from Ducatisti across the country carrying the spirits of Independence and nationalism, spreading the message of education.”
With an objective of changing the world; one child at a time, Lotus Petal Foundation’s mission is to provide exemplary education, nutritious meals, and quality healthcare and skill development to the children of urban poor in India. Founded by a management graduate from IIM Lucknow, Kushal Raj Chakravorty, the organization also provides free primary and secondary healthcare to children and their families.
