Raghav Chaitanya a Young Artiste to Win a Filmfare Award

Singer Raghav Chaitanya won the 66th Filmfare Award 2021 for his first playback song Ek Tukda Dhoop from the movie Thappad composed by Anurag Saikia.
Talking about winning the award, Raghav Chaitanya says “it is one of the biggest honour for me winning the 66th Filmfare Award for Ek Tukda Dhoop. I always believe, when you follow your passion with dedication and hard work you will be able to achieve what you have started your journey for. This is just a start for me, I am looking forward to give the best of me to the audience”.
Talking about Raghav Chaitanya, music composer of Ek Tukda Dhoop, Anurag Saikia says “ Raghav’s voice has the power to touch your soul. Raghav and I have done multiple projects together and Ek Tukda Dhoop is one of them. When I was composing the song, Raghav was the only name which could match the expectation we had”.
Raghav Chaitanya, born on 23rd Oct 1994, is the youngest person to win the Filmfare Award for Best Playback Singer (Male). He is a singer-songwriter, hailing from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. After graduating from Amity University Noida (NCR), he shifted to Mumbai in 2015. Raghav is also the voice behind super-hit non-film video songs like Aise Kyun, Baatein, Parwaah, and Lamhe to name a few. His original compositions have multi-million streams on audio Streaming platforms. Raghav has also lent his voice to hit Amazon TV Series like Panchayat and Mismatched
