Celebrate Mother Mary’s birthday and the Bandra Fair through a live telecast from Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Bandra, between 3rd - 19th September on Tata Sky Darshan

‘Bandra Fair’ (Mount Mary Fair) is a festive event that celebrates the birth of the Virgin Mary. Every year “Feast of the Nativity” is celebrated by Mount Mary Basilica at Bandra, marking the birth anniversary of Mother Mary. The festival used to draw the attention of lacs of people every year, however, this is the second year that the annual fair is being discontinued owing to pandemic restrictions. 

Even though the fair with stalls and entertainment is cancelled, the basilica is taking a digital route just like the previous year. Masses during the Novena and Octave Feast will be streaming live on TV and mobile on Tata Sky Darshan at no extra cost, from 3rd until 19th September, enabling the worshipper to pray from the safety of their homes. The live feed is also available on Tata Sky Mobile App and Tata Sky Binge+. Masses will be conducted in English followed by local languages, including Konkani, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Gujarati, a different local language daily.
