Witness the mouthwatering flavors of Bengal in Agra, Bengali Food Festival at TAJ Agra from 30th January- 10th February 2020

Bengali Cuisine is a culinary style originated in the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent, Bengal. The food served is a combined flavors of the five spices, mustard and poppy seed paste or posto. The cuisine is known for its varied use of flavors, as well as the spread of its confectioneries and dessert.
The Bengali Food Festival does not only manifest the Agra’s Mughal culture, but also portrays nostalgic stories of ‘zamindari’ or landlord culinary culture of India bearing the influences of Islamic culture.
The specially curated menu - DAWAT-E-BENGAL represents the food culture influenced by the royal houses of Murshidabad, Coochbehar and Bardhhman will showcase local elements of gastronomy, architecture, culture and creativity.
