Hyderabad, 25th January 2023: CDK Global Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based software to dealerships and OEMs across automotive and related industries, celebrated its 8th Family Day Event, Convergence 2023, at Mallika Conventions, Hyderabad. The theme of this year’s Convergence is ‘Celebrating the Journey’ to symbolise the accomplishments of CDK employees, along with their families. Over the years, the primary goal of Convergence is to recognize as well as to honour and appreciate the contribution of CDK Family to the organization’s success and growth.
Convergence 2023 started off with a delectable Hi-Tea and Carnival, followed by Lamp Lighting by the youngest members of CDK India highlighting the importance of young talent at the company. Later a video showcasing the spirit of Convergence was played which kept the audience engaged. The cultural evening was inaugurated with a welcome note addressed by Mr. Arvind Chaturvedi, the Senior Vice President & Managing Director of CDK Global India.
The entertainment programs were assorted in a way that kept the audience pumped throughout the entire event. It started off with an amusing performance by CDK’s in-house band - CDK Unplugged which was truly a highlight of the event. The enthralling welcome dance, a perfect fusion of classical dance forms performed by the CDK employees, was loved by the audience, which moved on to some adorable performances by the talented CDK employees and their family members. The captivating performance by CDK Global’s Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Mr. Arvind Chaturvedi - was the most applauded and alluring performance of the evening, where he tuned into some of his favourite numbers with fellow singers and later joined the other leaders in their most awaited Leaders’ Show.
Then the Retro to Metro dance made the audience groove and lifted their spirits, which was succeeded by the unique Ramp Walk showcasing the five elements of nature. The MCs, as usual, kept the audience entertained with their funny spoofs and acts which were highly appreciated by the audience. The plethora of extravagant dance and musical performances kept the audience highly amused, throughout. The evening went on to become one of the most surreal events, for the efforts put together by the CDK Family.
The event also included the much-anticipated Awards Night, where CDK Global India recognised its employees' commitment, undying efforts, and outstanding contributions at various levels by presenting them with awards such as Silent Star, Spark, Dronacharya and You Make a Difference where the winners were also honoured with trophies in presence of their family members.
The gala night concluded with an entertaining DJ opening the dance floor with all-time favourite hits making the audience groove to the tunes and simply dance-it-off. The event was, then, concluded with a scrumptious dinner.
