Mumbai – Hilton Mumbai International Airport is excited to announce the upcoming Koli food festival, taking place on 24th February 2023 to 5th March 2023 (for dinner and Sunday Brunch only) at our All-day Dining restaurant The Brasserie. This festival will showcase the traditional cuisine of the Koli community, who are the indigenous fishing community of the coastal region of Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Join the team of culinarians from Hilton Mumbai in their collaboration with Shobha Tai and her friends from Boisar Koliwada, showcasing one of the Mumbai's oldest communities and their kitchens. A one of its kind food festival that is celebrated where boats are decked up with flags and torans, and family and friends are taken out for a ride in the sea.

The Koli food festival will offer attendees the chance to taste some of the most delicious and unique dishes of the Koli community. The menu will include seafood delicacies like Koli style tawa fish, Bombil sukka, Agri style Halwa curry   along with vegetarian options such as Chauri chi karanji, Papdichya shenganchi bhaaji and many more. The festival will also feature live cooking demonstrations and workshops to give attendees an insight into the traditional Koli cooking techniques. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the Koli people, learn about their history and their way of life.
