“A truck driver from Gwalior needs INR 50 lakh to save his son, a Virat Kohli fan, from severe accidental injuries”

National, 23 June 2023: Jasvindar Singh, a local truck driver, is raising INR 50 lakh via ImpactGuru.com for his 12-year-old son, Harman, a die-hard Virat Kohli fan, who is in a debilitating condition due to a tragic accident. The fatal incident severely damaged the innocent boy’s health, leaving him in an incredibly fragile state, with multiple injuries.

The accident resulted in several critical injuries for Harman, including external iliac and vessel injury, cervical spine injury, rectal injury, urethral injury, multiple sacral and pelvic bone fractures, and extensive injuries on the right side of his abdomen and thigh.

Harman was initially rushed to a local government hospital located 50 kilometres away, where doctors provided immediate treatment to stop the bleeding. However, due to the complexity of his injuries, Harman was promptly transferred to a private hospital for further treatment. Doctors did their best to provide care but upon observing Harman's critical state, they expressed uncertainty about his survival that night and recommended transferring him to Delhi for surgery. Showing remarkable courage, Harman underwent a 10-hour-long surgery. Following the surgery, Harman spent 15 days on a ventilator, and it was during this critical period that signs of movement and speech gradually emerged, instilling hope for his recovery.

A vibrant young boy, Harman had recently completed class five studies and was eager to resume school. He possesses a deep passion for adventurous activities, and cricket is his favourite pastime. Harman dreams of emulating his idol, Virat Kohli on the field, and aspires to become a successful cricketer in the future.

Currently, Harman is in ICU and undergoing extensive physiotherapy to regain his strength and mobility. The road to complete recovery is still long and requires ongoing medical care. However, the financial burden on the family has reached a critical point. Having already exhausted their savings, they have turned to medical crowdfunding to continue Harman's treatment.

“I am the primary earner in the family with a monthly income of only INR 10,000 that I earn as a local truck driver. I have immense responsibility for the entire family which comprises 10 members. Our whole family wishes nothing but Harman’s successful recovery. Please do not let financial adversity hamper my child’s hope of recovering and leading a healthy life,” says Jasvindar Singh.

The Singh family humbly appeals to the people for their generous contributions towards Harman's recovery. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in providing the necessary medical care for Harman to reclaim his health and future.
