Every year July 26 is observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas to commemorate India's victory over Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil War. To celebrate this day, the Prime Minister of India pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti, New Delhi every year. On the occasion of this day, Zee TV actors like Arjun Bijlani a.k.a Shiv from Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya ShivShakti, Neeharika Roy a.k.a Radha from Pyaar ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, Rohit Suchanti a.k.a Rishi from Bhagya Lakshmi and Ashi Singh a.ka. Sumeet from Meet expressed their gratitude towards the brave soldiers who sacrificed their life for the nation.
Arjun Bijlani who plays the role of Shiv in Zee TV's Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya ShivShakti says "As an Indian, I salute the soldiers who bravely fought and made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
