Chennai, February 8, 2024: Mr. Vishal Agarwalla of Jamshedpur has taken charge as the National Chairman of Young Indians (Yi), a youth arm of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He took charge at Yi’s Annual Meet called Take Pride which was held in December 2023 in Chennai. Union External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar was present as the chief guest on this occasion.
Young Indians was established in 2002. It has 66 chapters in the country, with more than 6300 members in the age group of 21 to 45. Yi focuses on activities related to nation-building, youth leadership, and thought leadership. Yi’s social initiatives and programs inspire youth through its key stakeholders, including youth from two colleges, 13 lakh school students and 240 rural areas.
Vishal Agarwalla is the Founder Chairman of Young Indians Jharkhand Chapter. He has been involved in a diverse set of projects under Nation Building, Thought Leadership and Youth Leadership. He has been instrumental in successfully organizing significant events under the banner of Young Indians. Notably, he served as the Indian Sherpa for the G20 YEA organized in the country, showcasing his prowess on the global stage.
Apart from his Yi leadership role, Vishal Agarwalla holds directorial positions in CTC India, CTC Precision, and Kemmer Precision GmbH. He is also the Director of the Indian Cutting Tool Manufacturing Association and a member of the National Executive of the Socio-Economic and Educational Development Society (SEEEDS).
As Vishal Agarwalla takes charge, the Young Indians (Yi) community anticipates a period of dynamic leadership and impactful initiatives under his guidance. His diverse experience and commitment to social and economic development make him a fitting leader for this influential youth-focused organization.

Yi holds the Guinness Book of World Records on “Largest child safeguarding lesson in a single day.
