Winning starts for CCI, Bom Gym

CCI made a winning start to their campaign in Group A of the Kanji Cup, blanking hosts Willingdon SC 5-0 in round robin match of the Rs 1 lakh prize money Motiram, Ullal and Kanji Cup, organized by GMBA, managed by Badminton Gurukul and hosted by WSC at their courts, here, on Wednesday.

In first round qualification matches of the Motiram Cup, Bombay Gm scored a close 2-1 victory over Parsee Gymkhana, while CCO B and C teams scored 2-1 and 2-0 wins over MCF and Bellissimo respectively.
