Hungama Artist Aloud presents World Music Day Festival Season 4: Digital Edition, in partnership with BookMyShow


4 concerts featuring 4 popular artists performing live from their homes on the same day. These artists include Mame Khan, Parikrama, Anand Bhaskar Collective and Hardeep Grewal 
Tickets for the festival to be available on BookMyShow from 12th June onwards, with the concerts scheduled to be streamed on BookMyShow on World Music Day,
 21st June 2020, 12 noon onwards 
India, 12th June 2020: Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent content, today announced the digital edition of its musical gala, World Music Day Festival Season 4, in partnership with BookMyShow, India’s leading entertainment destination. A medley of different forms and genres of music, the festival will feature 4 concerts from 4 renowned artists - Mame Khan, Parikrama, Anand Bhaskar Collective and Hardeep Grewal, performing original songs live from their homes to celebrate the spirit of music. Premiering on World Music Day, 21st June 2020 at 12 noon, each concert will be 45 minutes to an hour long and available to watch exclusively on BookMyShow. Tickets for the festival will be available on BookMyShow starting today, 12th June 2020. Users can purchase tickets for an individual artist’s concert for INR 299 or buy a season pass for INR 499 that gives them access to all the 4 concerts.
Purchasing a season pass will also give the users access to opening acts from Aléa Motwane and Krisha Mongia, two extremely talented teenage artists who featured in Hungama Artist Aloud Discoveration – Gen Next, a musical series that featured independent musicians under the age of 18, performing original compositions.
Over the past few years, Hungama Artist Aloud has organized the World Music Day Festival to mark the occasion and give music lovers across the country a chance to appreciate independent content and artists. In its third edition, the festival saw simultaneous performances across 8 cities in India. The latest edition of the property, which will be available for viewing on BookMyShow, is an addition to the entertainment platform’s vast array for in-home entertainment offerings, which have catered to the entertainment needs of tens of million users during this lockdown period.

Hungama Artist Aloud launches Indian Independent Music Awards, the definitive awards for independent musicians from the industry

An exclusively digital property, the awards will recognize independent music releases in India by Indian artists from around the world across 26 categories, with winners chosen through a mix of public voting and an intensive jury round 
Entry process to start in the first week of July with the grand finale scheduled to be held online in September 2020
India, 26th May 2020: Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent content, today launched Indian Independent Music Awards. As the definitive awards to honor independent Indian musicians, the property will recognize outstanding Indian talent, living in the country or any other part of the world, for their content released in India, either directly by the artists themselves or through labels. The awards will follow a digital – only approach with even the finale to be held online in September 2020.
Artists and labels will be able to submit their entries between 1st July and 15th July 2020. The entries will have to include only officially released content in India between 1st April 2018 and 31st March 2020 by Indian independent artists from across the world. Public voting and a jury round will follow suit from 17th August to 9th September 2020, with the finale scheduled to happen in the 4th week of September 2020.

Hungama Artist Aloud launches #StayAtHome #StayEntertained on Facebook.com/HungamaMusic – live digital concerts by renowned musicians


Multiple artists including Mame Khan, Shanay Shah, Anmol Malik, Alobo Naga, Sunita Bhuyan & Ronojit Bhuyan, Shibani Kashyap, Shweta Subram, Aabha Hanjura, Sherrin Varghese, John Mpamei, Shardul Mehta, Tauseef Akhtar, Manasi Scott, Merlin D’Souza & Rhys Sebastian, Jasleen Aulakh, Samantha Noella and Suneeta Rao to deliver individual live performances from their homes over a period of 14 days beginning 1st April 2020

India, 31st March 2020: Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent content, is launching a unique series of multilingual, multi-genre and multi-talent digital concerts called #StayAtHome #StayEntertained. Launched in association with Facebook, the series will feature various artists including Mame Khan, Shanay Shah, Anmol Malik, Alobo Naga, Sunita Bhuyan & Ronojit Bhuyan, Shibani Kashyap, Shweta Subram, Aabha Hanjura, Sherrin Varghese, John Mpamei, Shardul Mehta, Tauseef Akhtar, Manasi Scott, Merlin D’Souza & Rhys Sebastian, Jasleen Aulakh, Samantha Noella and Suneeta Rao performing live from their homes, offering viewers a chance to be entertained as they practice social distancing. From 1st April 2020 till 14th April 2020every day, different artists will go live on Hungama Music’s Facebook page to deliver acoustic performances. Their performances will be interspersed with interesting trivia about their careers and live interactions with fans. The concerts will also be available to stream on Hungama Music and Hungama Artist Aloud’s Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram handles.
