Infogain Appoints Jitinder (Jay) Sethi as VP - Strategic Solutions & Chief Enterprise Architect

                            Will drive re-engineering projects to leverage SaaS, PaaS, API’s, microservices and IoT

Los Gatos, USA: May 15, 2019: Infogain, a Silicon Valley leading provider of technology solutions and services has appointed Jitinder (Jay) Sethi as VP - Strategic Solutions & Chief Enterprise Architect. Based out of Infogain’s Los Gatos office, Jay reports to Chief Solutions Officer, Nishith Mathur. 

Jay’s scope of responsibilities encompasses thought leadership, technical consulting, cloud migration, Rapid Application Development (RAD), API/Integration and the Internet of Things (IoT). He is driving Infogain’s vision for enterprise architectures that optimize the use of SaaS, PaaS, API’s and microservices as well as providing team leadership for:

• Engineering platforms integrating cloud subscriptions with backend systems and environments
• Re-engineering legacy systems to Cloud Native Architecture 
• Designing and implementing greenfield, microservices-based products and applications

Jay brings over 27 years f experience in the software industry to Infogain, most recently as Chief Enterprise Architect at Wipro. During his career, he has held a variety of leadership roles at Wipro, Oracle, Primitive Logic and Cognizant, among others. While at Oracle, Jay was a cofounder of the Oracle WebCenter Portal product. 

Jay’s software experience extends to managing all stages of architecture, solutioning and digital platform (re-)engineering, cloud/platform (re-)architecture, API (SOA and microservices) architecture, mobile application (re-)architecture and IoT architecture.

Property agents had the task of gathering new property information manually which was not only time consuming but also error-prone. To resolve these challenges, Infogain, working in partnership with Automation Anywhere, designed an intelligent Bot that utilizes Google Cloud’s AutoML Vision Object Detection APIs which automatically identifies amenities by looking at the pictures available publicly. After the Bot gathers the info, the agent adds pricing and basic information to complete the listing. The API ‘intelligent’ Bot helped double the listing activations and reduce the turnaround time by 70%.
