KAAFIR TRAILER HITS THE RIGHT CHORDS

The trailer of ZEE5 Original Kaafir starring Dia Mirzaand Mohit Raina has created quite a stir.

It received a fantastic response and was trending in India on Twitter hours within the release of the trailer.

Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Diana Penty, Vidya Balan, Bhumi Pednekar, Sania Mirza, Amrita Arora, Riteish Deshmukh, Bejoy Nambiar, Shoojit Sircar, Sophie Chaudhary, Tarun Mansukhani, Goldie Behl, Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre, Rohit Roy amongst others shared their love for the trailer as well as congratulatory messages and good wishes for the Kaafir team on their social media platforms.

Kaafir has been on the audience radar since it went on floors. Each content piece – be it the on-set pictures posted by Dia Mirza or Mohit Raina on their social media platform or the motion poster or the teaser or now the trailer which launched  - it has all unanimously  received a thumbs up from audiences.

'Kaafir’, based on a true story is a tale of a young Pakistani woman who comes into India through a strange series of circumstances and is unable to go back home. It is a story of the relationship between the young woman and a lawyer who finally helps her gain justice and helps her return to where she belongs.

Written by Bhavani Iyer, directed by Sonam Nair and produced by Siddharth Malhotra, Kaafir premieres on 15^th June 2019 on ZEE5.

 

 

  

ZEE5’s KAAFIR TEASER GETS A THUMS UP

ZEE5 released the teaser of their upcoming original series Kaafir starring  Dia Mirza and Mohit Raina on the weekend and it has garnered a lot of positive reactions.

The teaser showcases a sprawling border and weaves a storyline which leaves the audiences astounded. In the last montage, viewers see Dia Mirza behind bars which compels them to think what might have happened.

Both Dia Mirza and Mohit Raina have actively been sharing behind the scene images from the sets of Kaafir on social media. After releasing the trailer, both the stars were flooded with congratulatory messages on social media from fans, friends and family.

Written by Bhavani Iyer and Directed by Sonam Nair, 'Kaafir’, inspired by a true story, is the journey of a mother, a young Pakistani woman who is unable to go back home and stuck amidst the strange circumstances.
