Kinetic introduces range of fogging and spraying e-vehicles to help create a germ-free India

·         Launches campaign to Promote safety and confidence: “Green Apnao…Corona Bhagao”
Pune, 29th April 2020: To curb the spread of the Corona virus, Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, India’s leading manufacturer of electric vehicles, has launched a range of Green solutions that effectively disinfect the indoor and outdoor areas; and create a germ-free and healthy environment.
The Company has introduced three offerings, including Kinetic e-fogger and e-sprayer range for disinfecting outdoor areas like public places, slums, large industrial campuses, hospitals, factories and  residential townships; as well as a portable UV Sanitizer, suitable for disinfecting indoor areas like hospital rooms, offices etc.
The innovations include a novel water-based fogging solution, Kinetic e-Fogger. Using advanced but green technology, Kinetic Green is propagating Cold Fogging instead of Thermal Fogging. Cold Fogging uses Water as carrier instead of harmful Diesel used in Thermal Fogging; but is equally effective as Thermal Fogging.
Kinetic Safar, the indigenously designed battery-operated electric three-wheeler is used for the spraying and fogging operation. This mobile disinfecting solution can travel even in congested areas or small lanes of slums or congested old city areas, which are difficult to cover in a large vehicle or extremely time consuming and ineffective on foot. These convenient and green solutions can assist in overcoming the spread of the disease in these crucial areas.
As the Fogging and Spraying equipment is mounted on Kinetic’s Electric vehicles rather than on a diesel vehicle, they offer a green solution without any noise, vibration and air pollution. Kinetic e-Fogger and e-Sprayer vehicles are extremely economical with an operating cost of only 50 paisa/km. Kinetic e-vehicles have an ideal speed required for fogging with a very low maintenance cost. The vehicles are well-equipped to have both water-based and diesel-based fogging option.
The third product, a UV Sanitizer has been developed by Kinetic for satization of indoor areas such as rooms of hospitals, ambulance, buses or offices. It uses Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) disinfection method where short-wavelength ultraviolet (ultraviolet C or UVC) light is activated to kill or inactivate micro-organisms in the vicinity. It has been used primarily in medical sanitation and sterile work facilities. There will be two portable models suitable for different areas of 100 sq. ft and 500 sq. ft. and and will be quite effective to also sanitize the hutments in Dharavi slums etc. This proprietary technology is being developed by Kinetic Group company, Kinetic Communications, and will be marketed and serviced by Kinetic Green dealers all across the country.
e-Fogger, e-Sprayer and UV Sanitizer solutions of Kinetic Group are complementing each other as the spraying and fogging vehicle sanitizes exteriors and UVGI sanitizes interiors.
Commenting on the launch of the product range,  Ms. Sulajja Firodia, Founder and CEO, Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd. said that, “Kinetic Green is extremely happy to introduce these  revolutionary products which will help to create a germ-free environment and contribute to arresting the spread the Corona virus. We would like to immediately offer this solution to the Government and Municipal Corporations, especially to disinfect congested areas like the slums where the disease is spreading rapidly.
These solutions will also be useful for creating a safe environment in various public places, gardens, large townships, campuses of educational institutes, offices, factories, and hospitals in the future. They will assist to eliminate fear among citizens and help them to return to a normal life amid this pandemic.  In these unprecedented times, this is our small effort to offer solutions which are safe for humans as well as for environment. That’s why we have launched this campaign “ Green Apnao … Corona Bhagao” to spread this message of safety and confidence.
Company has fully developed the supply chain and completed development as well as testing of its solutions. Few of the e-fogger vehicles are already running in few places like Panvel in Maharashtra, and Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh. Company is in discussion with many Urban Local Bodies in India  including various Maharashtra Government Authorities and expects to deliver many more in coming weeks, especially to assist the authorities in their efforts to curb the spread of Corona virus in congested areas like slums in Mumbai and Peths in Pune.

Pune, 27th November2019: Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, Pune (“Kinetic”), leading Electric Vehicle manufacturer in India and Autoline Industries Ltd. (Autoline), a leading auto components manufacturer have signed an agreement for joint development and nationwide marketing of electric-bicycles (“E-Cycle”).
Under the alliance, Autoline will undertake the development of the E-cycle critical assemblies with almost 100% indigenous content. Autoline in association with Kinetic Green has successfully developed their first 2 models of E-Cycles named as “E-Speed” with in depth R&D over the last 18 months. Both the models will be available at a price of INR 24999. Kinetic, which is already a well-established player in not just the automotive market but also in Electric vehicles, will aggressively market the range nationally, through its PAN India dealership network. These “E-Speed” will be available for the customers in the Indian market by 1st December 2019. With the help of Kinetic Green’s strong dealership network spread across 150 cities, the aim is to promote these e-Cycles across India.
Autoline will utilise its existing capacity to manufacture the E-Cycles. At present, Autoline has a capacity to assemble 1,000 E-Cycles per month which can be expanded up to 10,000 E-Cycles per month. Initially, Kinetic and Autoline will introduce E-Cycles in two variants and will later introduce more models as per market demand.
The “E- Speed” will be built at Autoline Industries’ Pune plant and are built on the Make in India principle. They offer a top speed of 25 kmph and can run 30 km on a single charge. Vehicles are equipped with Lithium ion batteries and it takes only 3 hours to fully charge the batteries. The battery is detachable and light weight, enabling it to be carried home for charging on a simple domestic socket, just like a mobile phone. The vehicle works on a an electric – assist principal, thereby the riders can either choose to pedal the bicycle, for exercise/on slopes or to save battery or they can have fun ride by using the electric powertrain. The vehicles are easy to use and are suitable for both male and female customers. The “E-Speed” can be useful for customers like students in urban or rural areas, courier deliveries, short distance delivery needs, hotels and resorts, large Industrial Campuses, Gated Communities etc.
Within the Automotive space, Electric vehicles (EV) segment is witnessing rapid evolution due to their intrinsic benefits of zero pollution and low running cost, and this is further accelerated due to Government support, as well as increasing awareness among the consumers of the adverse impact of ever increasing pollution on health. Indian Government has set ambitious targets to transform India’s automotive sector with accelerated electrification especially with a focus on two-wheelers, three-wheelers and public transport, to bring the benefits of green mobility to the masses.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Arun Firodia, Chairman, Kinetic Group said, “Kinetic’s vision is to bring green mobility to millions and bring a wide range of innovative yet affordable EVs to the Indian mass market.  We strongly believe that in a developing nation such as ourselves, the social impact of a new technology can be beneficial  only if it is brought within the reach of the common man, just like impact made by Kinetic Luna or Kinetic Honda. Only then, its benefits can reach the society at large. Currently, the Government’s FAME II scheme does not have special support package for E-cycles but we will request them to extend support to this segment.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Shivaji Akhade, Promoter and Managing Director, Autoline Industries said “This is a part of our Company’s strategy of exploring various business opportunities in the challenging business environment to prepare ourselves for the future. At Autoline, we believe in innovation &utilization of the latest technology. The E-Cycle initiative also forms a part of our company’s humble contribution towards Green-Earth initiatives. We feel that E-Cycles have the potential to make a massive impact on the micro mobility market as well as to help improve fitness levels of our health conscious millennials!”
