Pune, 29^th August 2019: Puneri Paltan is ready to #GheunTak in their home ground, Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Balewadi. The franchise’s ticket sales are now live for the Pune leg of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 7. The Paltan is all ready to set the stadium on fire from 14^th September to 20^thSeptember 2019.

The tickets can be obtained from BookMyShow and Puneri Paltan’s official website. They can also be obtained offline during the upcoming Inter-Club Kabaddi Championship on 8^th September happening at The Mills, behind Sheraton Hotel, Sangamvadi, Pune. Offline ticket counter will also start at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Balewadi two days prior to the beginning of the matches in Pune. Tickets for the matches are priced between Rs. 300 and Rs. 6,000.

After Ganeshutsav ends, Puneri Paltan’s home matches is the biggest sporting event for Punekars. With lord Ganesha’s blessings, Puneri Paltan hope to commence their home matches on a high. Fans can brace themselves for yet another nail biting, edge of the seat thrilling Kabaddi action for non-stop 6 days.

Puneri Paltan will start its home leg campaign on Saturday, September 14^th, when they will be playing against Gujarat Fortune Giants.

Shivshakti Kridamandal emerge as champions of Puneri Paltan’s Inter-club Kabaddi Tournament in Nashik

·       16 teams participated in the tournament

·       Shivshakti Kridamandal, Adgaon were the champions and Brahma Sports, Adgaon were the runner up

·       Sanny Mate of Shivshakti Krida Mandal emerged as the best raider

·       Omkar Kokale of Brahma Sports emerged as the best defender

Nashik, 25^th August 2019: As a part of its endeavour to promote Kabaddi at grassroot levels, Puneri Paltan, organised the Inter-Club Kabaddi Championship at Meena Tai Thackeray Stadium, Nashik. With 16 teams participating, the championship received an overwhelming response. The tournament was a grand success.

The winner of the tournament was Shivshakti Kridamandal who received a prize of Rs.11,000 and a trophy followed by the runner’s up of the tournament, Brahma Sports who were awarded Rs. 7,000 and a trophy. The final score line was 19-17. Krida Prabodhani emerged as 3^rd place winners and Shikarevadi Krida Mandal emerged as 4^th place winners received Rs. 3,000 each and a trophy.  Sanny Mate of Shivshakti Krida Mandal emerged as the best raider and Omkar Kokale of Brahma Sports emerged as best defender of the championship.
