The upcoming session of Tata
Literature Live! Sports Yatras features a power-packed panel discussion on an
eagerly awaited event - Tokyo 2021-
India's Olympic Revolution.
The countdown to this mega multi-sport
international event has begun and India’s preparation for participation in the
Olympics has been in full swing. From veterans to young rising stars, India's
top athletes in some disciplines will go to Tokyo as the best in their
respective fields. The ongoing pandemic has added to new complexities at this
event and with COVID protocols coming into play, the pressure on athletes is
going to be immense.
To discuss this intriguing topic, we have
an interesting panel comprising of Mr. Raninder Singh, President NRAI, Mr.
Ajay Singh, President, Boxing Federation of India, Mr. Parth Jindal, Founder of
the Inspire Institute of Sport and Director of JSW Sports, Mr. Nalin Mehta,
Author, and Mr. Boria Majumdar, Sports Historian, and Author.
The
session will also feature Mr. Boria Majumdar’s book - ‘Dreams of a
billion – India and the Olympic Games’ which he has co-authored along with
Mr. Nalin Mehta.
