Siddharth Devnani is the Co-Founder and Director at SoCheers. Having a Production Engineering degree along with an MBA in Operations, he started his career interning with Tata Motors and Future Group (Pantaloon Retail), which gave him hands-on experience on the value chain management and helped him understand the importance of seamless back-end operations. In 2012, he joined Naaptol.com where he managed the operations of an entire category and innately curious, also took the extra effort to learn the nitty-gritties of e-commerce. It is at this point in his career that he started to consider the possibility of becoming an entrepreneur seriously, and finally took the plunge in 2013 when he partnered to establish his own Social Media Marketing agency, which has since then evolved to a digital-first, full-service Advertising & Marketing agency.
In his own words, co-founding SoCheers was one of the boldest steps he took, and over the years, he has helped build the company to what it is today. From initially 2 interns to a highly skilled team of over 140 people now, from managing smaller accounts to running campaigns for global brands, Siddharth has been there for it all, setting up the team, evolving the processes, and scaling up the agency’s offerings. He also heads the finance team and is responsible for the revenue generation of the agency, ensuring the continued profitability for the organisation. Gradually, his role has grown to include establishing and spearheading the media planning & buying division. More recently, he was at the centre of setting up the Digital Intelligence & Analytics (DIA) division, introducing social listening and other data-driven services to the list of the company's offerings
It would be fair to say that Siddharth lives and breathes digital. Not only is he heading the technology branch of SoCheers, but he is often the person who can be seen foreseeing some interesting digital trends, which one might find in reports months later. This marks his in-depth knowledge and analytical mindset, not only for SoCheers but also for the entire digital ecosystem. As the last couple of years made digital mark its importance and acceptance amongst the brands, Siddharth strongly anticipated the further acceleration of the medium and how it will be at the core of every marketing strategy. His excellence has been recognised time and time again by several renowned entities, honouring him with prestigious accolades. Some of them are Inkspell Drivers of Digital Awards, 2021; Agency Reporter 40 Under 40, 2021; and the Impact Digital Power 100, 2020. Moreover, he has been the moderator for the Adgully Digixx 2021 Summit and Awards. He was delighted to be engaging with the panellists for the discussion on the topic - New Categories Cracking The E-Commerce Code. In December 2020, he also did a Live Instagram Session with Aleena Gandhi from Social Media Dissect where they discussed the biggest lessons learned in the most unusual year and what to expect in 2021.

getting away from the city whenever work allows. He loves reading and
multitasking, and you will usually find him juggling between the endless tabs

The continuously accelerating year-on-year growth numbers also speak to the fact. The last fiscal year, even with the pandemic, saw a 39% increase in overall revenue and it rose to 65% in 2021-22. Moreover, the production capabilities skyrocketed from 2X to 10X in the midst of the pandemic and the team size grew from 90 to 140+.
Over the last couple of years, SoCheers has augmented its creative capabilities by blending crisp and intense storytelling with the relevant and latest digital marketing technologies to build impactful and meaningful campaigns, which have given the agency an edge over the others. Campaigns like The Family Man Job Hunt (Amazon Prime Video), Mirzapur S2 - Purvanchal Ke Samachar (Amazon Prime Video), Venom #ChocolatesMissing (Sony Pictures Entertainment India), Nickelodeon #YogaSeHiHoga (Viacom18 Pvt. Ltd.), BreastFeeding Week (MeeMee), etc. have not only gotten insane love from the audience but have also produced definite and bold results for the brands.
