Our Javelin Champion Neeraj Chopra has won the Gold Medal at World Athlete Championships 2023 held at Budapest recently throwing a distance of 88. 17 meters in the finals. AIAI also congratulates India’s 4x100 Relay Team Stars Muhammed Anas, Amol Jacob, Ajmal Variyathodi and Rajesh Ramesh who have created a new Asian record timing of 2.59.92 at the World Athlete Championships reaching the finals for the first time. Dr. Kalantri, while congratulating these champion athletes said, they will motivate our youth immensely. |

Dr. Kalantri, further emphasized that the government must create world class sports training and championship facilities across the nation especially in smaller towns to encourage the rural youth. He further stressed that the Government must appoint only reputed, experienced sportspersons as the Heads of Sports Federations, Associations instead of politicians and those without sports background. This policy will greatly improve the performance of sports persons and the ranking of India globally. |
