The China Gate Group, a leader in the Asian restaurant scene, proudly introduces Goh Jia Ting, a premium pan-Asian and seafood haven in Bandra

Mumbai, 29th March, 2024: After the success of Global Fusion, Bora Bora, Walkman Bar and TAP, Mr. Krishna and Ankit Tamang have opened a brand new seafood restaurant in the by-lanes of Bandra, the culinary heart of Mumbai. Goh Jia Ting promises a unique dining experience, combining delectable Pan-Asian cuisine with a cosy  ambiance.

The owner of China Gate Group, Ankit Tamang expressed his excitement for their new project, saying, “At Goh Jia Ting, we aspire to be a culinary destination that delivers an extraordinary dining experience by bringing together the most talented chefs, using the finest ingredients, and mastering the delicate balance of traditional Asian recipes with innovative techniques to create dishes that are both authentic and extraordinary.”

Goh Jia Ting welcomes people to immerse themselves in a warm and inviting atmosphere, where families are embraced by a warm and inviting atmosphere. As you enter, the pleasures of the sea unfold in an ambiance that feels like an oceanic embrace, inviting you to savor moments of joy together. When asked about the significance of the name, Mr. Tamang said, “The restaurant is inspired by my family friends and my long term chef - the Goh Family. It is basically an hommage to Mr Goh who helped make Global Fusion what it is today and is no longer with us.”

The restaurant embraces the natural world with abundant foliage that creates a refreshing and lively backdrop. Plants not only offer a touch of nature, but they also induce a sense of tranquillity, making it the ideal place for families to unwind and enjoy their dinner together. Paintings depicting natural elements decorate the walls and ceiling. These artworks, together with the delicate illumination provided by cane hanging lamps, contribute to a relaxing atmosphere. The lighting, inspired by the mellow glow of sunsets, sets the tone for a laid-back eating experience, ideal for families looking for a hearty lunch. The lighting in the restaurant is deliberately designed to mimic the warm hues of a sunset, providing a golden glow across the space.

The menu features an array of fresh and exotic seafood dishes, which is their speciality, however, they also have vegetarian options. Some of their dishes include; Crispy Pomfret Thai Style, with a fried preparation of the beloved pomfret, dressed in a delicious coconutty stir-fry sauce, Steam Edamame with sea salt, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Whole Lobster with noodles, drenched in a delicious sauce of your choice, Vegetarian Baked Hakka Noodle, Goh Jia Ting signature Peking Duck. Dessert lovers with an array of classics like Lychee Panna Cotta, and unique and interesting desserts to entertain your sweet tooth like Chocolate Dome with Hot Butter Caramel Sauce drizzled on the top

Goh Jia Ting’s cocktails display a certain knowledge and depth of mixology. Like their Kokum Sour, made with Kokum Extract, Bourbon, Lemon juice, Bitters, this refreshingly sour concoction is keeping with the times. Or Cho Cho, their signature creation, with Gin, Gooseberry, Ginger, Lemon juice and tonic, which is so simple yet so delicious.
