&TV artists become Santa for a day to spread the Christmas cheer


Everyone has their eye out for Santa as Christmas approaches. It is the day of joyous festivities accompanied with baked goods and glittery décor. &TV artists, Angoori Bhabi (Shubhangi Atre) and Vibhuti Narayan Mishra (Aasif Sheikh) of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi) and Rajesh Singh (Kamna Pathak) of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan and Gudiya (Sarika Bahroliya), Pappu (Manmohan Tiwari), Babli Bua (Bhavna Balsavar) and Hulchul Pandey (Jay Soni) of Gudiya Humari Sabhi Pe Bhari, share how they intend to celebrate the day in novel ways. Shubhangi Atre, says, “The festival of Christmas is a much celebrated one, I would usually attend a Christmas party with my near and dear ones and exchange gifts, in light of the current situation I have decided to be a Secret Santa myself and gift those who have been my support system. It is my way of thanking them on this special day where I express my heart-felt gratitudeAasif Sheikh, explains, “We usually celebrate the day with a lavish meal and a cake to top it off. This year my family and I decided that we won’t splurge much on shopping and instead distribute warm clothes to those in need since it tends to get chilly this time of the year. I urge everyone to spread love and happiness and wish you all a lovely Christmas!” Jay Soni says, “My birthday falls on Christmas, so I consider myself to be Santa Claus! I will be celebrating the day with full vigour and enthusiasm. I wish everyone has a brilliant year ahead and stay safe.”  Kamna Pathak, says, “Christmas is one of my favourite festivals I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and urge you all to take this day as a reminder to truly appreciate those who have made this year memorable.” Bhavna Balsavar shares, “On behalf of everyone on the set, I hope that, may this Christmas end the present year on a cheerful note and I wish everyone great happiness in the coming year. It is a time to be with your near and dear ones to cherish precious moments. Merry Christmas!” Yogesh Tripathi shares his sentiment, “I had never celebrated this occasion before, it was only when the cast and crew would get together and enjoy the game of Secret Santa. This year we celebrated the same on-set but instead of gifts we shared notes on how thankful we were for each other.” Manmohan Tiwari tells us how he will dress up as Santa for his son, “My son loves Santa Claus and this year I will dress up as him to bring the Christmas cheer home. It has been a difficult year for so many and as a way to help those in need I will be leaving a Christmas surprise for my house help. Wish you all a safe and happy Christmas!Sarika Bahroliya shares, “This year we will celebrate Christmas with the cast and crew and enjoy sweet delicacies. We will make the most of it as we can only do so much in these times, I am excited to put on my Santa cap and celebrate with my family on-set.”
