Mumbai, July 25, 2024 – The Western India Chartered Accountant Students Association (WICASA) and the Western India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (WIRC of ICAI) proudly hosted the 7th Grand Finale of the CA Students National Talent Search 2024 Elocution and Quiz Competition. The prestigious event took place on July 24th and 25th, 2024, at the ICAI Tower, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
The competition began at the Branch Level, with winners advancing to the Regional Level, and concluding with National showdown at the Grand Finale.
The Elocution Competition required students to speak on any one from the given list of topics, showcasing their public speaking skills and depth of knowledge at the same time. On the other hand, the Quiz Competition tested participants on General Awareness and CA Course subjects through various rounds including Preliminary, Elimination, Buzzer, and Rapid Fire. The top-performing i.e. the winning Elocution participants & Quiz team has been nominated for the SAFA International Contest.
Further, esteemed Chartered Accountants served as judges for the event, lending their expertise and insights. The successful execution of the competition was led by Dr. CA Rajkumar Adukia, Chairman of the Board of Studies; CA Ankit Rathi, Chairman of WIRC of ICAI; and CA Piyush Chandak, Chairman of WICASA (WIRC). Their guidance and leadership were instrumental in the event's success, bringing together CA students from across the country to exhibit their extraordinary talent and knowledge.
The Grand Finale not only celebrated the achievements of these remarkably talented students but also reinforced the commitment of WICASA and WIRC of ICAI to fostering excellence in the accounting profession and beyond.
