Gaur City Mall recently organized a memorable day out for mothers and daughters from economically weaker sections (EWS) who receive free education at Gaurs International School under the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" initiative. This special event was held under the aegis of the Gaurs Foundation. This initiative is a part of the Gaurs Group's steadfast commitment to social causes and community welfare.
Manju Gaur, Director of Gaurs Group, emphasized the organization's dedication to impactful social initiatives, "This visit was a small step in imparting a feeling of pride among these girls and enabling them to walk step by step with other sections of the society. In alignment with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' scheme, we provide formal education to girls from EWS at Gaurs International School in the evening."
The outing saw ten selected girls and their mothers enjoy a delightful day at Gaur City Mall, located in Greater Noida West. The event featured variety of activities designed to create joyful and lasting memories. The mothers who were the special guests of the day indulged in retail therapy, received pampering treatments at the salon, watched a movie, and participated in other fun-filled activities. The entire experience was arranged by Gaur City Mall, ensuring that the mothers and daughters could bond and relish the day without any financial concerns.
Reflecting on the event, Manju Gaur added, "Witnessing the joy and excitement shared by these mothers and daughters was deeply satisfying for all of us at Gaurs Group. We are committed to organizing more such initiatives to support and uplift our community."
Visits like this empower the kids from the weaker section with the confidence to navigate and understand how these social environments operate. Such experiences will broaden their horizons and familiarise them with different societal settings.
As a socially and environmentally conscious organization, Gaurs Group, also known as Gaursons India, not only focuses on educating girls from EWS but also engages in various sustainable practices. These include a 15MW solar power project, rainwater harvesting systems, and a state-of-the-art Sewage Treatment Plant, reflecting their dedication to environmental stewardship.
