Shibani Kashyap travels from Mumbai to Delhi to cast her vote in 2024 Lok Sabha Election

25th May, 2024. Renowned singer and composer Shibani Kashyap has travelled from Mumbai to Delhi to fulfill her civic duty by casting her vote in the Delhi Lok Sabha Election on May 25, 2024. Kashyap’s decision to travel such a distance highlights the importance she places on participating in the democratic process.

Shibani says that there are elections in Delhi on May 25th, and she appeals to everyone to exercise their right to vote. She is among the first celebrities to join the “My First Vote” campaign by IIMUN and is also participating in the Big FM campaign “Chunav Ka Parv Desh Ka Garv.”

Shibani, who has long been an advocate for active citizenship, emphasized the critical role of voting in shaping the nation's future.  Shibani Kashyap saidVoting is a fundamental responsibility we owe to our country. If we do not exercise our right to vote, we lose the authority to voice our concerns. My vision for India is one of progress and strength, and I considered these aspirations deeply when I cast my vote. I appeal to all of you to exercise your right to vote.
