Government of Maharashtra in association with MedScapeIndia initiative of launching Fit Maharashtra Balloon Festival.

On the occasion of World Health Day on April 7, 2022 Government of Maharashtra has collaborated with MedScapeIndia aimed at improving and transforming healthcare delivery in Maharashtra at Gateway of India, launching by hosting a balloon festival. It is commemorated by utilising the chance to create awareness about health and fitness in the state by floating Tricolour balloons into the air.The tri-color balloon represents our nation's pride, boosting the campaign and ensuring that the maximum number of people engage in this event.
The entire Maharashtra health ministry is actively involved in this event in order to be prepared for any future pandemics. Some of the present dignitaries will be
Hon’ble Health Minister of Maharashtra Shri Rajesh Tope, Dep. CM, Aditya Thackeray, Hon’ble Health Secretary of Maharashtra Dr Pradeep Vyas, Mr. Sangram Singh World's Best Wrestler, Cultural Minister, Police, BMC Commissioners, Sports Minister and various doctors from the health organisations along with International Wrestling Player Sangram Singh. "We are extremely glad for this balloon festival to inspire and push people for a better life," says Rajesh Tope, Health minister. They are also in process of developing and rolling out implementation plans for accomplishing the key objectives with selected initiatives like skills training, education, screening diagnostics, and philanthropic activities around the area. This time, Medscapeindia is aiming to do something new and diverse, which will have a very positive impact on residents and raise awareness through this campaign. Yoga sessions, free mental counselling, CPR training, and other traditional activities such as lezim to be performed to keep the spirit high.

This campaign will be followed by upcoming health programmes that will highlight the state's healthcare facilities; this is one such effort that we are all looking forward to for other citizens to contribute on a wide scale, extending our assistance to remote regions as well.”, says Dr. Sunita Dube.
