The song ‘Love Token’ is a bilingual Punjabi-English pop song that gives a chill afro dance vibe. While Manj Musik’s unique and versatile voice gives character to the track whereas Anusha Dandekar’s voice for the chorus and presence in the video compliments the energy of the song & seamlessly fitted the mood of it in equal measure. The music is produced by DJ Upside Down & the video was shot in the exotic location of Maldives to add parallel energy to the song.
On being asked about the song, Anusha Dandekar said, “Music is my passion and Manj’s songs have been my all-time favorites. When I heard the song for the first time, I got hooked on the catchy music and knew I wanted to be part of it. Talking about the song, Manj Musik said, “I am super excited about ‘Love Token’ and I have given my all to this track. I wanted to create something peppy yet artistically satisfying, so it was very important for us to incorporate Punjabi beats in the most authentic form and make it a fusion. I have always believed in creating something new and fresh rather than following the trends. Now, all I want my listeners to do is just put on the music and shower love to ‘Love Token’.”

AAP KI ADALAT: "My love stories will go with me to the grave", Salman Khan tells Rajat Sharma

Mumbai, April 30, 2023: In a no-hold-barred interview with Rajat Sharma in 'Aap Ki Adalat', super star Salman Khan admitted that he has been "unlucky in love", probably because of his own faults.

Asked whether he intended to write an autobiography on his love affairs, he replied: "My love stories with go with me to the grave".

Asked when he intends to marry, he replied: "Jab aisa koi aayegi, toh ho jayega, Sir”(when somebody will come, it will happen).  "Actually, sabhi achhe hain (all my previous girl friends were good), the fault lies in me. When the first one left, it could have been her fault, when the second one and then the third one left, there could be faults with them, but with the fourth one, doubt creeps in whether fault lies with them or me. In the fifth case, it could have been 60:40. But when more left, it is then confirmed that it was my fault. None of them had any fault. It is only my fault. Probably a kind of fear in their mind that I may not be able to give them happiness in life. I am sure they are all happy wherever they are."

Rajat Sharma: The whole world wants to know when you will marry.

Salman Khan: "Jab Ooper Walah chahega, Sir (When God Almighty wills so). Two individuals are needed for marriage. In the first case, marriage did not happen. When I said yes, somebody said, no. When somebody said yes, I said no. Now there is 'no' from both sides. When both sides say 'yes', the marriage will take place. There's still time. I am 57. I want this time it should the first and last. Matlab ek biwi honi chahiye.

Rajat Sharma: And how many children?

Salman Khan: As many as possible. Many. If I have one, and another after 5-6 years, I can play with them for 20-25 years. This is called dedication, consistency, persistence.

Rajat Sharma: Your parents have been waiting since long for a bahu in their home.

Salman: Sir, what can I say. There was no plan for a bahu, it was for kids. But the laws of India do not permit (adoption).

CENSORSHIP FOR OTT

Asked whether he had problems with OTT content, Salman Khan said, "I have too many problems. I think there should be censorship on OTT content. In films, if we have two punches extra during action, we get 'A' certificate. On OTT, there's a different type of action going on. There is no A, B, C certificate at all.

Rajat Sharma: Restrictions on OTT, but not on Bigg Boss?

Salman Khan: In Bigg Boss, we already have many restrictions.

Rajat Sharma: You mean, restriction in the sense that you told Zubair Khan, Kasam Khuda Ki, my name is not Salman if I don't make you a dog?

Salman Khan: Yes, I said that. I remember. Because he was doing too much badtameezi in Bigg Boss.

Rajat Sharma: You told Paras Chhabra, I will set you right once you come outside.

Salman Khan: Yes, he too. Though Paras' mistake was not much. We hear other people's views too. Our creative heads tell me what happened inside the house. So tempers do rise and we get angry. When I see myself, I feel, I should not have reacted like this and I feel really bad. ..Inside Bigg Bose house, things happen quite a bit. We can't blame the participants, not on phone. There are 112 cameras working there. On top of it, given the tasks they get, they always lock their heads with each other, so it becomes a bit difficult for them, and they lose their temper.

WHEN SALMAN FIRED A SHOT AT SHAHRUKH

Salman Khan recounted an anecdote at the sets of 'Karan Arjun', when he once fired a shot at Shahrukh Khan. He said, "during shooting, there are blank guns. I got a blank gun from action director Bhiku Verma. A party was going on and Rajasthani folk dancers were present. I told Shahrukh, I'll call you for dance, you refuse, and then we will engage in scuffle, and here's a blank gun. I will fire a shot at you and you will fall down. Shahrukh said he was not in a mood, he was tired. My brother Sohail was there. I pulled Shahrukh's hand, and he snatched away his hand. He pushed me, I also pushed him, a scuffle ensued, I took out the gun and fired a shot at him. Shahrukh did a somersault and fell down. Javed Saheb's wife Honey Aunty was there. She said, I know him since childhood, he's not that type of boy. One journalist Nishi Presm was there. She said, I always knew this boy to be like this. Time Video owner Pravinbhai Shah said, we will all be in a soup, let's rush out. For ten minutes, I stood with red eyes, and said, Koi Nahin uthega, Sabko Maar Doonga. Rakesh ji's hands started trembling. I said, 'Shahrukh Uth, Shahrukh Uth (Shahrukh wake up). When Shahrukh didn't wake up, Sohail, Bhiku Da panicked. I checked my gun. Suddenly Shahrukh started snoring. So, Pathan was at last aliuvew. I again fired 3-4 shots, and everybody started laughing.......I think Shahrukh is the best performer of the industry. There's no need to say this. This performance was much better than Arjun's performance. Everybody was convinced and many were trying to flee the set. It was a good experience. "

With the telecast of this show on Saturday night, India TV will be launched in UAE. Viewers in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi can watch this show on India TV via Etisalat and du (UAE telecom operator).

Union Minister Piyush Goyal highlights the importance of small countries in the global supply chain at 'India Calling Conference 2023'

India should aim for 47 trillion dollar economy in 2047: Piyush Goyal
IMC India Calling 2023 begins with theme – Rising India; Inviting Partnership for growth

Mumbai

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, delivered the inaugural address at the 'India Calling Conference 2023' organized by the Indian Merchants Chamber in Mumbai. During his address, he highlighted the contribution of companies from small countries, such as the Czech Republic and Poland, to the supply chain of big companies around the globe.

Minister Goyal appealed to all to aim for a 47 trillion dollar economy when India reaches the year 2047. He added that India has tried to formalize the economy and has met with great success. The spirit of team, competitiveness, and positivity are necessary for success, and that kind of spirit can be seen in Mumbai, which is not only the financial capital but also the fun capital of India, he added.

Minister Goyal said that every single geography in the world has a lot of hope and expectation from India, and though it can be sometimes daunting, it shows the confidence of the world in India's future. He said, "India reflects the vision of the world as one Economy. While Commerce Industry teams are negotiating Free Trade Agreements with a deep focus on protecting India's interest, India believes that true prosperity happens when the whole world prospers. India believes in Vaccine Maitri under which it delivered 278 million doses to poorer countries mostly free because India feels safe when the world is safe."

The Minister further added that the 'Panch Pran' given by the Prime Minister can be realized only if it becomes the commitment of the entire nation. He emphasized that the vision of a developed India will not be possible without the 'Nari Shakti' of India and a corruption-free nation. He applauded the commitment of the industry to social causes and said that all of us are determined for a better future for India.

During the conference, Dinesh Joshi, Chairman, IMC International Business Committee, highlighted the success story of 'Make in India' initiative, where India has turned out to be one of the most favored manufacturing hubs. He mentioned that India's smart phone exports have increased from zero to 90,000 crores, and centers of excellence are being set up for the manufacture of electronics, pharma, textiles, and solar manufacturing. He also noted that India has made considerable progress in sectors such as defense, space, hydrogen energy, and fintech.

Anant Singhania, President, IMC, in his welcome address, said that India is now the 5th largest nation by GDP, up from 10th place since 2014. He highlighted the government's initiatives to link ordinary Indians to their electronic identity through a set of digital services, which has caused the cost of technology to drop. This and the conducive ecosystem created by the Government of India have transformed the startup scene in India, making India the world's third-largest startup hub, he observed. He also noted how India has gone from creating 1 Unicorn/year to 42 Unicorns in 2021 and in a span of 10 years emerged as the number 1 mobile data consuming nation.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal also extended an invitation to those present to join him in listening to the 100th episode of Mann Ki baat on April 30.

Funfirst Global Skillers and Tata Institute of Social Sciences host B.Voc. alumni meet in Noida

Mumbai 29April, 2023: Funfirst Global Skillers Private Limited, in partnership with Tata Institute of Social Sciences, held a successful alumni meet on April 23rd in Noida. The event was attended by over 180 participants, including ex-students of the B.Voc. programme, corporates, and academia.

The B.Voc. Course is a unique programme that has been refined over the years to build a career for students from economically weaker sections of the country. Students from rural areas of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, MP & other states are supported to take accommodation in Noida and have 2 hours of session each day apart from On-the-Job-training at a related Industry Partner for practical knowledge. The programme is supported by Funfirst's partnerships with Lava International, Salcomp, Panasonic, and Intex.

Prof Madhushree Shekhar, Dean, School of Vocational Education at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) said, "I am incredibly proud of the success of our B.Voc. alumni and their dedication to building their careers. Through our partnership with Funfirst Global Skillers and Knowledge Providers like Lava International, Salcomp, Panasonic, and Intex, we are able to provide unique opportunities to our students in B.Voc in Electronic Manufacturing Services, who come from economically weaker sections of the country. They are able to achieve their full potential through this programme.”

Apart from Madhushree Ma’am, Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal, Chief Manufacturing Officer at Lava International was the guest of honour. Other notable dignitaries were Mr. Shadan Ahmad, Senior Vertical Manager, TISS SVE, Dr. Pawan Kumar Chauhan (NIOS), Mr. Gaurav Sharma (Telecom Sector Skill Council), Col. Amit Mathur (BriskOlive), Mr. Parminder (Salcomp Manufacturing), Mr. Amardeep Yadav (Jubilant Foods), Mr. Sanjay Gupta (CFO, Mother Dairy) and the host Mr. Amit Gupta (Funfirst Global).

A total of 706 students have completed their three-year graduation programme (B.Voc. in Electronic Manufacturing Services) from the Noida center till now. The students are given a monthly stipend which helps them sustain and even support their families. All the students are placed in varied industries, with 3% of them even starting their own businesses. The average placement salary of the batch which completed their B.Voc. in Dec’22 was Rs. 18,716/- pm. 33% of the alumni are already at a salary of more than Rs.25000/- pm, which is a lifestyle change, considering that all the students come from BPL families. The alumni are placed in more than 68 organizations, prominent amongst them, being Vivo, Oppo, Dixon, Flipkart (F1), Micromax, Lava, Bharti, DHL, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Magic Bricks, Jubilant Foods, etc

The ex-students had a great time meeting old friends and faculty apart from some informative sessions by the industry. Team Funfirst along with TISS is working on creating a cohesive Alumni for this programme which can support the alumni in lateral opportunities, upskilling, international placements, and entrepreneurship.

Funfirst Global Skillers Private Limited is proud to have contributed to the success of so many students from economically weaker sections of the country. The B.Voc. Course is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in the manufacturing industry, and we hope to continue providing this opportunity for many more students in the future.

About TISS - School of Vocational Education (SVE):

School of Vocational Education (SVE) –December 2011.

The School of Vocational Education (SVE) was set up to impart skill education to millions of Indian youth through appropriately designed vocational education programs. The focus is on developing job-specific skills rather than providing only a broad knowledge-based education. The approach adopted is called the Internship Embedded Skill Training Programme during which many students may also earn a modest stipend in select skill knowledge sectors.  The aim of this ‘Work while you learn’ model is to enable the students to learn the skill by engaging in an internship on the real shop floor of the industry/company along with session in the classroom.
