Ethiopian Commences Passenger Flight to Bulawayo, Third Destination in Zimbabwe

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading carrier, has launched a new flight to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, via Victoria Falls starting from 30 October 2022. Ethiopian has started four weekly flights to Bulawayo, a third destination city in Zimbabwe after Harare and Victoria Falls and a third new destination opened after the pandemic. With the addition of Bulawayo, Ethiopian global destinations reach 131. The new flight will be operated with B787 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Bulawayo, also known as “The City of Kings” is rich in cultural history and is the second largest city in Zimbabwe after the capital, Harare.

GPPL Acquires Digital Media House, Eye Media Networks

Envision - India’s First Energy festival driving Industry- Academia led technology transformation towards Net Zero Emissions in India

Chennai, October 31st, 2022: In an endeavour to set the vision for Industry-Academia led technology transformation aimed at taking India towards Net-Zero by 2047, IIT Madras Research Park along with India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is organising ENVISION – India’s First Energy Festival  at IITMRP between 3rd-5th November, 2022.   

The event will be inaugurated by Dr N Kalaiselvi (Director General, CSIR - Central Electro Chemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI), Dr. Ajay Mathur ( Director General, International Solar Alliance) and Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala (President – IITM Research Park, IITM Incubation Cell & RTBI).   

The conference will be witnessed by CXOs, Industry members, government dignitaries, and institutional bodies and features seminars, panel discussions, student led project demonstrations and activities surrounding the discourse “Towards Net-Zero”. Mumbai, 31st October 2022: The Shortlists for the prestigious Tata Literature Live! Literary Awards have been announced today. The Awards are presented annually at the Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest, for books published during the year in the categories of Fiction, Non-Fiction and Business. About Literature Live!

Literature Live! is dedicated to celebrating the written word in all its glorious and varied forms. It offers a chance to participate in the many joys of literature, from book launches, thought provoking talks and author interactions, all of which continued online during the pandemic. Literature Live! also organises Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai Litfest, Mumbai’s premier international Literary Festival (8.5 million views for the virtual Festival last year). Now set to launch in a hybrid format: virtual and on-ground, from 9-13 November, 2022, the Festival has become very popular not least because it looks at literature in a way that complements the spirit of Mumbai: energetic, inclusive and cosmopolitan.
