In a recent podcast with Mr Siddharth Kannan, the man behind Mahabharat Siddharth Kumar Tewary revealed that people initially considered Shaheer as a risky choice for the role due to his slender physique. However, Shaheer's determination and dedication to the role ultimately won him over.
Tewary recalled how Shaheer, who was known for his boyish charm in the show "Navya," was initially advised against playing the powerful and muscular Arjun. Despite the doubts, Shaheer was passionate about the role and spent 1.5 years undergoing a rigorous transformation to bulk up and embody the character. Tewary was impressed by Shaheer's commitment and believed that he possessed the perfect blend of personality and spirituality to portray Arjun.
