(BANM), Mr. Hakim Lakdawala’s journey from being a high school graduate to an
investor and then a self-made developer has been a highly fruitful one. As a
founding member of Goodwill Developers, he has made his mark by maintaining
ethical business practices and welcoming conversation with employees by keeping
an open door policy at work.
All work and no play is not a saying applicable for describing Mr.
Hakim Lakdawala as he maintains a healthy balance between his personal and
professional time and encourages his employees to do the same. Family is
important for him and he enjoys indulging in a cup of tea while spending time
playing Ludo King with his family.His greatest learning
came from his father, who encouraged him to become an entrepreneur even if it
meant failing multiple times, as long as he recognised every mistake and never
made them again. This advice has helped him become the businessman he is today.
