ALTBalaji’s much-awaited psycho-thriller, Bekaaboo 2, has finally given the audience all the answers they sought. With a fabulous ensemble cast and an even more intriguing storyline with a perfect amount of thrill and sheer entertainment, the show has garnered maximum eyeballs.
Smaran Sahu, who plays a cop in the show, is turning heads for his resemblance with Ranveer Singh's character Simbaa from his blockbuster movie. His character Aakash in Bekaaboo 2, is brought into the story when Anaysha (Subha Rajput) realizes she is being threatened by her ex-lover and career rival, Kiyan. Aakash becomes the primary investigator in the chaos and revenge saga. Just like the cop in Simmba, Aakash doesn’t form romantic connections with women that often. He is constantly surprised by the extremes the protagonists go to oust each other.
Smaran talks about his preparation for the role, “First day on set was a scene which had a lot of physicalities involved, and I’m thankful to my director for his guidance to carve out the “sur” for Aakash. From the get-go, we were able to comprehend and give structure to his body language and overall performance, and the shoot ahead was smooth sailing with minor corrections here and there depending upon the requirement of the scene. Ranveer Singh’s Simmba was my inspiration to prepare for the role. I am thankful for all the rest of the star cast who delivered their performances impeccably and gave me enough to react on. The project wouldn’t be completed without the hard work and utmost sincerity of all the rest of the crew members who worked tirelessly and in a way selflessly.”
Bekaaboo 2 is a story that revolves around bestselling author Anaysha, who rose to fame and acts maliciously, destroying everyone’s careers to make sure she stays at the top. When she does the same with her ex, he flies into a rage and will stop at nothing to get back at her. He draws her best friend into the plan and also her arch-rival, and there are so much hate and anger, with no one sees the chaos coming.
Along with the dashing Smaran Sahu Bekaaboo 2 stars Subha Rajput, Taher Shabbir, Priya Banerjee, Poulomi Das, Taha Shah Badussha, Tusharr Khanna in this 10 episodic series.
