14th feather in GoAir’s OTP hat on the eve of 14th anniversary

Mumbai, 20 November 2019: GoAir, India’s most trusted, punctual and fastest growing airline, continues its strong hold with its unprecedented 14th consecutive month of On-Time-Performance (OTP). The entire Indian aviation industry has stood up and taken notice of this remarkable achievement which no other airline has been able to achieve. The 14th OTP leadership has come at a very opportune time for GoAir as the airline is celebrating its 14th anniversary
According to data released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), GoAir has registered 79.9% on-time-performance for the month of October 2019, the highest among all scheduled domestic airlines. In October 2019, GoAir flew 13.78 lakh smart passengers across its network. The airline had 0.5 complaint rate per 10,000 passengers in the month October 2019.
GoAir has been out-performing on multiple parameters such as comfort, service and OTP in the past few months and steadily becoming one of the preferred Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) amongst millions of passengers both in the domestic and international market. GoAir is the recipient of the highest FOUR-STAR rating “Low Cost Carrier 2020 Official Airline Ratings™” by APEX. 1.4 million passengers gave GoAir the highest approval rating of FOUR-STAR, making it the only airline this year, in the LCC category, to receive such an accolade in the entire Central Asia Region.

16 October 2019: Here’s the chance to celebrate the festival of lights in advance. The 24-hour pre-Diwali festive offer started at 15:00 hours on 16th October opening up an opportunity for last-minute travellers to book tickets at unbelievable fares and ends at 15:00 hours on 17th October. The travel period – between 20th to 23rd October 2019 – is a boon for passengers who would like to usher in Diwali in style but couldn’t afford peak season fares.
The offers are applicable on all routes that GoAir flies across 33 destinations and can be booked through the official website of the carrier, www.goair.in, or through GoAir mobile app. This offer cannot be combined with any other offers and is not applicable on group bookings. In case of the cancellation of the offer tickets, standard cancellation charges will apply.

Andaman Tourism recognizes GoAir’s best on-time performance

Port Blair, 15 October 2019: GoAir, India’s most reliable, trusted and fastest-growing airline has been honored with the ‘Best Airline’ award by Andaman Tourism Award -  2019, in its first edition. At a grand ceremony held in picturesque Port Blair, GoAir was awarded for its exceptional leadership in attaining on-time performance for 12 consecutive months
Andaman Tourism Award was organised in association with the Ministry of Tourism, India and Andaman Association of Tour Operators. Along with prominent hotel chains, tour operators and restaurants GoAir was felicitated for playing a prominent role in boosting tourism in Andaman & Nicobar islands
The award was presented by Mr. M Vinod, President, Andaman Association of Tour Operators and Mr. R Sarath Kumar, Indian Film Actor and it was received by Mr. Sarvesh Tiwari, General Manager - Airports and Mr. Aman Kohli, Airport Manager, Port Blair on behalf of GoAir.
Commenting on the latest achievement, Mr. Jeh Wadia, Managing Director, GoAir, said: “It’s been 8 years since GoAir commenced flights to Port Blair as our 19th destination. Since then, innumerable sleepless nights have been spent by the GoAir family who have helped Port Blair grow from strength to strength. I’ve been told that according to various government figures, during 2011-18 there was an incredible increase of 150% in domestic tourist arrivals from 2.02 lakh to 5.13 lakh and the hotel accommodation has doubled along with phenomenal rise in the number of tourist cabs. This is the 12th month in a row that GoAir has achieved the distinction of being on top of on-time-performance (OTP) charts. As per the data, GoAir registered 85.1% OTP, the highest among scheduled domestic airlines in August 2019.
GoAir currently operates 325+ daily flights and carried around 13.91 lakh passengers in the month of August 2019. GoAir flies to 24 domestic destinations including Ahmedabad, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Kannur, Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Port Blair, Pune, Ranchi and Srinagar. GoAir flies to 7 international destinations, including Phuket, MalĂ© (seasonal), Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Dubai, Kuwait and Singapore taking off soon.
