Johar to regale us with his charismatic presence! This time the Koffee with
Karan hostsurprised us all with a new look minus grey hair posted by sharing a
video on his Instagram profile. Tired of being referred to as old, KJo finally coloured
his hair at home with Godrej Expert Rich Crème, India’s leading crème hair colour
brand. He even used the hashtag #ColourLikeKaran. Delighted with the outcome,the
Bombay Velvet actor is now gunning for main leads it seems; evidently seen from
his hashtags of the post.
Most of us neglected our hair concerns
this lockdown and perhaps have even forgiven the occasional greys. Likewise,
Karan, too, decided to let his hair be. On May 5, the Student of the Year
director, even posted an image of himself in grey hairand claimed that he is
now available for father roles. Bollywood was abuzz with the likes of Ekta
Kapoor, Farah Khan, Vishal Dadlani, Shilpa Shetty, Anil Kapoor, some supporting
while others taking a fun dig at him. However, this got many mixed views. His own
children, Yash and Roohi, thought he is growing older at a faster pace. However, this was not acceptable to the
fashionista and he took the matter into his own hands. Godrej Expert Rich Crème
and Karan Johar’s collaboration aims to highlight how easy it is to colour hair
at home and that people need not look dull just because they are indoors. Salon
or not, Karan’s hair looks gorgeous after he tended to it himself.

with his peppered hair speaking about how he thinks that his new home grey hair
look is cool but his fans, industry friends and even family is urging him to
colour his greys as they make him look old. Frustrated with the comments, Karan
agrees to colour his greys with Godrej Expert Rich Crème recalling how this is “Anushka wala hair colour”. Apprehensive
as he has never applied hair colour by himself, Karan follows simple
instructions - mix, apply, and wash off. Finally, he expresses his astonishment
about the precision and joyously clicking a selfie states
how this will now go viral.
Karan Johar, said in the
video, “Grey hair can elicit multiple reactions. I can personally relate to it
as I got all kinds of comments from uber cool to hello uncle. When my kids
asked why I was looking old, I decided to try and colour my hair at home. I
didn’t have to do too much, just a simple application of at-home hair colour
with natural ingredients worked fine for me”
We are waiting like Karan to see what
the response from other celebrities is going to be to this new coloured hair
look.
