Nippon Paint Launches Protec Range of Industrial Paints

Mumbai, July 20, 2020: Nippon Paint India, part of the NIPSEA Group, has launched a new range of industrial paints under the Protec brand. With this launch, Nippon Paint India is now expanding its presence in the industrial coatings segment. The Protec range of products includes Primers, Top Coats and Specialized Coating Products. Nippon Paint India expects the Protec portfolio to meet the requirements of the market and help the company to grow exponentially. The company is starting this business with key 50 industrial dealers and will add more partners by the end of the year. Mumbai, June 19, 2019: Keeping in line with its tradition of transforming the lives of underprivileged and special-needs children, Nippon Paint - Asia’s No. 1 paint brand in terms of revenues, has launched SAHYOG -a program that aims at creating employment opportunities for people with special needs. Over the next few days, students with Autism Spectrum Disorder from PORDAC NGO(Protection of the Rights of Differently Abled Children) will join as Trainee Interns in the coveted Paint division of Nippon Paint. They will be given specific training on painting Nippon Paint’s special-edition products. Delhi-based Thamjit Manyenbam, a differently-abled child with Down Syndrome, today started interning in the Delhi facility (Okhla) of Nippon Paint India.
Nippon Paint has always made strides towards becoming a true community brand that engages with society and creates significant opportunities for the whole eco system and larger community. In order to provide dignified employment opportunities to the specially-abled children, Nippon Paint embarks as a debutant premiere multinational company to have taken such a major leap of faith towards these special future leaders of India.

Mumbai, 11 June, 2019: Nippon Paint, Asia’s No 1 paint brand in terms of revenues, has inked a partnership with the world’s largest 2 wheeler manufacturer’s Indian subsidiary Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) to be their authorized after-market paints and ancillary products supplier in India. 
Under the pact, Nippon Paint India has launched a new range of colors for Honda’s after-market services. The co-branded product called ‘Atom’ for recommended shades along with a full range of Nippon Paint branded ancillary products ranging from clear coats to primers to waxes will be available across Honda’s strong authorized service outlets Pan-India, covering every part of the country. 
Speaking on the sidelines of the MoU signing with HMSI, Sharad Malhotra, President Automotive, Commercial and Wood Coatings, Nippon Paint (India), “We are delighted to partner with the world’s largest two wheeler maker for a first-of-its-kind alliance in this space. This is a pioneering effort to deliver best in class after-market services to Honda customers. Along with the recommended range of colors, Nippon Paint will also supply best in quality ancillary products that are critical for the repair process to HMSI dealers. Nippon will provide full technical support to dealers so they can best leverage these high-quality products from us. Not just that, we will also provide technical know-how to the key paint technicians of HMSI dealers across the country.”

Nippon Paint Paves Way for a Socially-Responsible Future

New Delhi, April 26, 2019 : With a vision to transform the lives of underprivileged and special needs children, Nippon Paint has partnered with Delhi-based Tamana and Blind Relief Association along with Pragati Wheel School. As a part of this association, Nippon Paint-Automotive Refinish has donated internally-raised funds to these schools, helping bring about a significant and positive change in these children’s lives. Not only this, the company is also sponsoring vocational training for students from Pragati Wheel School (New Delhi).
Talking on the association, Mr. Sharad Malhotra President Automotive Refinish, Nippon Paint (India) said, “It is a matter of great honour and pride for us to support these organisations working towards the welfare of children. Our initiative is a tiny step towards the greater good. This is a small but significant beginning for Nippon Paint as we hope to create awareness for the cause and generate social impact with our support. We are also in talks with these schools for a long-term association towards Skill Development.”
Students from these three institutions also performed at the Nippon Nation Event held for employees and partners earlier this month at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon.
