Bhartiya City is an Integrated Smart City spread over 140 acres and houses BCIT Business Park, Nikoo Residential Apartments & the Performing Arts Pavilion which are already functional. More facilities and infrastructure are on the anvil. BCIT Business Park houses marquee tenants such as IBM, Infosys, Maersk Digital Centre, Synechron, NTT Data etc, and Nikoo is an ultra large residential complex with over 2000 apartments in Phase 1.
It can well be imagined that safety and security in this Covid era is a mammoth task as they ready for the phased unlock process. Accordingly, Bhartiya City has tasked ICM, the company which manages all the properties and the city infrastructure, to implement a holistic and comprehensive process to ensure that all stakeholders remain safe in the wake of the COVID19 pandemic. ICM has taken several precautionary measures and have prepared a very detailed Handbook on reopening the park and ensuring that the city is COVIDSAFE. Processes will be implemented to cover all facets that will aid a safe unlock which includes Screening, Courier services, QRT/ERT, Housekeeping, Communications, etc. Also covered are aspects like tenant responsibilities, and ICM has also been tasked for training and sensitisation which will help a smooth and safe transition. Says,C Sriram, CEO of ICM, “We are working very hard towards a zero error process which will be proactive and dynamic, and all stakeholders in this massive establishment will be carried on board to ensure absolute safety during this critical phase”.
