Mumbai, 06th December 2022: Art has no limits, for creativity, age or time, it can come from anywhere, anytime. Our elders are forgetting the way of living, to live life to the fullest, especially after COVID-19. To revive their inner child and artistic side, International Abstract Artist Krupa Shah - BJP President of Cultural Cell – Malabar Hill Vidhan Sabha, Mumbai under the leadership of Shri. Mangal Prabhat Lodha ji - Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship of Maharashtra, Cabinet Minister BJP organized a unique art event named "Humari Kahani" at Nana Nani Park, Girgaon Chowpatty on 5th December 2022. The artistic event was graced by the Chief Guest Dr. Manju Lodha ji - Chairperson, Lodha Foundation along with Shri. Shhyam Singhania ji - Chairman of Enarr Capital, Managing Trustee at Nana Nani Foundation.
The evening full of art and life experiences turned out to be a successful bliss, as more than 70 senior citizens participated in the art event. The key objective to set up this one-of-a-kind art event was to inspire seniors to step forward, pour their hearts out on the canvas, and express their life experiences through art. It was a platform for all seniors who wanted to rekindle their artistic passion and display their works. A special drawing kit including canvas, paint colours, and necessary stationeries to paint was provided to all the senior citizens participants.
Speaking at the event, Artist Krupa Shah said, "Post-COVID-19, the elderly people have become more vulnerable mentally due to the epidemic. They forgot to enjoy themselves and hid their art and skill somewhere in the corner of their heart. My main motive was to revive that artistic side and let them share their emotions and story through art. Hence, we decided on the theme "Hamari Kahani" which will help them to revive their older memories."
