In a heartfelt tribute to Suicide Prevention Week, the Agatsu Foundation, led by Ira Khan, hosted a special screening of NOT TODAY, a moving film by Aditya Kripalani. The event brought together a community deeply invested in mental health and healing.
The screening brought together a diverse group of people who shared personal experiences and insights into their mental health journeys. Following the film, a sharing circle was held, introducing an open dialogue with Director Aditya Kripalani and trained suicide prevention counsellors. This gathering encouraged a supportive environment for attendees to connect and find solace in their shared experiences.
Reflecting on the event, Aditya Kripalani shared, “It was incredibly moving to see people come together with such openness and courage. We hope that NOT TODAY doesn’t remain just a film; and to some, becomes a reminder that we are not alone in our struggles. Events like the sharing circle are crucial in breaking down the barriers around mental health and offering real support to those in need. I am truly grateful to Agatsu Foundation for providing the safe space”
