Mumbai, September 26, 2024: Zindagi original Barzakh (translated as Limboland) , a captivating fantasy drama directed and written by Asim Abbasi, has been named the national winner and nominated for Best Drama Series at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024. The show will compete against entries from 13 other countries in the same category at the grand finale. Other shows nominated in other categories from India include Heeramandi, Railway Men and Panchayat as well. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Hunza Valley, Barzakh unfolds the poignant story of a 76-year-old man who shocks his estranged family by announcing his engagement to the ghost of his first love, leading to a whirlwind of emotional confrontations.
