Delhi Public School R.N. Extension’s Pre-Primary wing hosted ‘FAMJAM: A Day of Giggles and Guffaws’, a vibrant event designed to foster a strong connection between parents, students and the school community. The fun-filled day provided a platform for families to engage in a variety of activities, including craft sessions, conceptual games and STEM-based learning activities, offering parents a glimpse into the classroom methodologies. Parents and students from Nursery, LKG and UKG participated with enthusiasm, enjoying a hands-on experience that highlighted the school’s unique approach to learning.
Speaking about the event, the Ms. Pallavi Upadhyaya, Principal, DPS RN Extension said, “We believe that connecting home and school is essential for building a community of lifelong learners. FAMJAM was not only a day of fun but a reflection of how learning can extend beyond the classrooms. Through events like these, we aim to strengthen family bonds and foster an environment where students, parents and educators work together in harmony.”
The highlight of the event was a lively cookie decoration competition, which added a sense of friendly rivalry and brought out the creativity of both parents and children. Winners were awarded prizes from each class, adding an extra element of excitement. With overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents, FAMJAM proved to be a memorable experience and the school looks forward to hosting more such events in the future.
