*Double celebration time for Shalmali kholgade*

Multi-talented singer Shalmali  who is busy with her  professional commitments  and concert n shows across the country  recently planned a quick trip & with her parents to Hilton Shillim to celebrate her mom’s birthday and  parents’ anniversary.

It was a double celebration  for Shalmali, as it  was her mother's 62nd birthday (9th October) and parents’ anniversary(14th Oct) that she planned this trip for 

Sharing her beautiful experiences Shalmali says," I booked a 3 day package at this beautiful resort in Shillim near Lonavala to celebrate my mother’s birthday and my parents’ anniversary. Mornings started with yoga sessions , diet consultation, beautifully curated meals, massage sessions, a pottery workshop, walks by the stream and a lot more that kept us occupied and feeling fantastic ! The stellar landscapes, mindful walks and just the company of my parents has made me realise so many things - most importantly - nothing is more important than sharing undisturbed time with the people you love. Here's to many such trips in future

Shalmali Kholgade to celebrate Raksha Bandhan after 15 years with her brother.

The Multi talented singer Shalmali Kholgade who never fails to surprise her audiences with her powerful performance and always up to learn news things come on her ways. Shalmali who had  completed her music studied  in Berklee college of Music in Boston had recently  gone to US  where her  brother Sudhanwa stays to surprise him  & celebrated Raksha Bandhan with him after 15 years.

Sharing  her memories with her brother Shalmali says, " I don’t think I’ve been with my brother ( Sudhanwa Kholgade) for Raksha Bandhan over 15 years now! So I’m really happy to be with him for the festival this year. We both really loved Top Ramen growing up and we used to fight over it. I am the younger one. I didn’t think that eating slowly would help the noodles last longer. My brother always had noodles left after I was done and wouldn’t share his with me.

Shalmali Kholgade goes back to school -Joins Berkley School of Music to pursue her dreams.

The Multi talented singer Shalmali who always amazed her audiences with her singing performances & known for her various peppy numbers from Bollywood and Marati films has recently gone to the Berklee College of Music, Boston which is one of the best school in the world , pursuing a course of Aspire Five Week Summer Program where she is learning Song writing and Musical Theater as her electives. It was Shalmali 's dream to study aboard but after getting her break in Bollywood films held her back as more and more offers started coming on her way and Shalmali got busy because of her work commitments  and she hardly got time to spend for herself to learn different music forms. But now Shalmali has taken time out from her busy schedule to follow her dreams & passion in music to learn different kind of music and singer skills which she is looking to go beyond playback and hence adding skill sets in all aspects of music making .

Talking about her new journey and ....  Shalmali wrote,

I’m here  because I think there’s a need to work on Musicianship to effectively be able to speak the language of music with fellow musicians. Communication is key to getting more done faster and also to be able to make the translation of what’s in your head to what you want to play. I intend of learning that here. 

I wanted to be in a musical environment that’s rich and diverse. A lot of learning is just listening. I hope to listen a lot here. I’ve wanted to sharpen my songwriting skills for my independent music career
